The Peshawar High Court has expressed concern over the delay in appointing two information commissioners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) under the right to information law.

The court has set April 30 for the next hearing in response to a petition filed by Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Ali (@mqur2001), a former information commissioner of Punjab and executive director of CPDI, seeking a speedy process to fill the vacancies.

Peshawar: On the 4th day of the Public Participatory Expenditures Management (PPEM) training, Mr. Shamsul Hadi, Provincial Coordinator at CPDI, provided an orientation to the participants on Physical Audit. The CPDI and IL teams facilitated group work, allowing participants to practice conducting Physical Audits in the field. On the final day of the 4-day PPEM training, participants are learning about citizen scorecards and the physical audit of public buildings.
