@chelseabwrites Don’t feel embarrassed, it seems most of us have to go through that at some point! I had signings at two different libraries and no one showed up to either one. I felt so terrible they’d wasted their time on me! It’s part of the writer’s life, I guess. Good luck! 🙂

@sullivansims My school had those! They actually used them all the way through my elementary school years, 1985-1991. I live on the edges of a small town, in the countryside farm area. Our schools over here are small and were behind the city schools in technology when I was growing up.

@BriannaAhearn My Troy High is a modern day retelling of The Iliad so I don’t agree with the statement about retelling being absent from YA. And I definitely don’t support not reading the literature you’re supposedly retelling. I don’t think that really falls into the “retelling” category.
