@MrPitbull07 Those premiums weren't for you. They were for the pool of thousands of people so that when a % of them need expensive catastrophic care no individual gets stuck with a $200k bill.
@AntonioArceInX@TrpstrLeonOG@SecKennedy If a third party is paying for the service.....then they will have a say. What you are talking about works well for me when it comes to labs and boutique type selective care. But I pay that bill.
@EasterbrookG Then make the default the off position and then people like you can easily push that button when you want your engine to turn off at stops.
@KurtSupeCPA 62.....more traveling expenses and other activities to cover compared to later in life when I have to pee every 10 mins and go to 5 dr appointments each month.
@violinjen8@Owennfa In the 80s just before HMOs we all paid out of pocket for our annual check ups. The point is pooling predictable care into the insurance structure has not led to the savings or better outcomes as promised by the HMO advocates back in the day.
@nickycantaloupe Salaried employees inherently work on a term basis vs a completion effort basis. So yeah....employers might want to know if you are actually working.
@Yu2Kelvin@Owennfa This....I can get my labs fully covered but it also involves making an appointment with my PCM and explaining why etc. It's easier just to order labs on an app and pay out of packet but only have one quick appointment.
@marco__reed@BarbellFi Huntsville, AL and northwestern AR both offer great quality of life. Stop believing that every zip code matches some study's statewide median statistics.
