@neojedjdp@drKurooHazama The responsibility to take care of yourself is not capitalism’s fault; it is nature. Capitalism works with the laws of nature, not against them.
@michaelshermer “Casting children out of paradise” is simply children growing up, reaching puberty, leaving the paradise of their parents home and working to make a life of their own. There is nothing immoral about this. It’s just people growing up.
@michaelshermer I think you’re misreading Biblical metaphors. The story of Adam & Eve allegorizes omnivore's dilemma: listening to parents vs. testing it yourself & risking sickness or death. You can eat anything but that fruit. Eating it you’ll gain wisdom; i.e., should have listened to parents
@michaelshermer Treating accurate criticism as less true is the real racism and ableism. It implies that blacks cannot be expected to meet the same evidentiary bar, or that exposing their failures is uniquely harmful and therefore illegitimate. Typical bigotry of low expectations.
More than six weeks after the Oxford Union promised to publish my June debate speech, the full video is still being withheld — while extracts of their own footage of the debate have appeared elsewhere, heavily edited.
I filmed my own speech with the Union’s knowledge and agreement as an insurance policy and backup. So I’m publishing it myself. They must release the entire debate.
Should the West be suspicious of Islam?
@PlumbNick So they are basically restricting Black people from getting groceries from the State Grocery Store? Flagrant racism, literally Jim Crow 2.0.
