So this is their last attempt to save face: Issue fewer visas and push that talking point before midterms. Soon we'll see the influencers talk about visa numbers.

People say the left went too far left, I agreed. The demands were just unreasonable. The right felt moderate, rooted in common sense at that time.

At what point does it become obvious the right has moved too far right?

The ones on the right that talked about common sense and what’s best for the country just became shills against for whatever the government failures are.

A war that should never have started? Crickets. An economy not doing too well? Blame the immigrants.

For the longest time, the left were the racist ones. They blamed everything on white people. They changed definitions so that racism became synonymous with white hate. This is a different US from the early 2010s. The right fought for equality for all. Until after the election. When the right needed a scapegoat for its failures, it became the fault of everyone (especially immigrants), but never the white peoples. Both sides have gone to the two extremes. Both sides have stopped taking accountability.

The ideal government is when neither side has total power. One party in the executive suite, the other in the chambers.

@TeamYouTube Thank you for being prompt with the response. The side blank screen was something new today. The persistent ad banner has been happening for months now. I even tried uninstalling, reinstalling YouTube. Nothing works. I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I only tried it on my device.

The @YouTube app has become absolutely unusable. Why is there a blank half screen on the side? Why doesn’t the ad banner disappear after the ad? If I don’t close the ad banner on the side myself, it literally stays the entire duration of the video.

At this point I am done with YouTube.

The number of fatal overdoses linked to the drug fell from nearly 49,000 to 38,000 (still, far too many).

Overall drug overdose deaths were down 14%.

The thing that is always conveniently left out. These people on H1b who are Indians are on an H1b because they have a very long wait to get their greencard. Decades for some people. So as long as that backlog remains, Indians will be highlighted. Other nationalities move on much quicker from H1b to greencard, so they are not displayed and advertised by the media.
