My honest opinion?

There is a lot of pressure building around #Trump to end this war quickly.

Pressure is coming both from inside the United States and from wealthy partners, especially the Gulf countries. I believe he may already be leaning toward a fast exit and quietly looking for a way out.

But it will not be easy. Israel understands this and will likely try to escalate the situation further to make disengagement harder. We may already be seeing signs of that with strikes on oil infrastructure and other aggressive moves.

At the same time, Iran may not care if the US tries to step back. They could continue targeting US bases in the region with the goal of forcing America out permanently, which could trigger retaliation and pull the US back in anyway.

The biggest risk is escalation dynamics. Israel has strong incentives to keep the US deeply involved in the conflict, and that could make de-escalation extremely difficult.

Watch for Israel to do everything they can to escalate this further and keep dragging USA deeper and deeper into this conflict. Because this is Netanyahu’s chance and he knows it. This have been his dream for 40 years, to manipulate USA into attacking Iran. He finally found a president stupid and compromised enough to do it…

I am increasingly convinced that Iran-Israel is not in an existential war as many claim or in the sense it is often described. It is a war over who gets broken first, who gets weakened most, and who pays for the next regional order.

If Iran wanted a final showdown with Israel above all else, the balance of pain would look different. Currently, a huge share of the real pressure of this war has fallen on the Gulf. The same applies on the Israeli side. When Gulf energy, logistics, water, and financial infrastructure become central Israeli targets and pressure points, that tells you something important. The war is not only about Iran and Israel fighting each other. It is also about forcing the Gulf monarchies to carry the cost, absorb the shock, and lose the fantasy that they can stay rich, passive, and protected while others burn.

Iran and Israel do not need to trust each other to arrive at the same outcome. They both benefit from undermining the Gulf. Israel wants the monarchies pulled into the war so they bleed strategically, economically, and politically. Iran wants to prove that American protection is worthless, that Gulf sovereignty is hollow, and that the monarchies can be terrorised into accepting a new security reality shaped around Iranian and BRICS leverage.

Current analysis puts too much emphasis on the political and security aspects of the war, but in my view this war is best understood through the prisms of political economy and grand theory. The real issue is not who hates whom more. The real issue is who controls energy flows, trade routes, insurance costs, market access, infrastructure, and the regional security architecture that sits on top of all of it.

The US is part of this logic too. It wants greater control over the region’s energy exports and imports, greater leverage over both Gulf and Iranian futures, and a restructuring of the regional order that keeps the dollar system alive and creates room for American exports and strategic dominance. For the US, this is a war over rents, routes, hierarchy, and control.

Iran has no serious interest in removing Israel completely. Israel is useful to Iran. It keeps Egypt constrained, Turkey cautious, and the Gulf dependent and frightened. The removal of Israel would not produce a clean victory for Tehran. It would produce a much less predictable regional balance in which Sunni Arab powers and Turkey would have more room to move. Israel also has no automatic interest in destroying Iran beyond repair whilst the Gulf remains standing. A totally crushed Iran could remove one enemy, but it could also leave the Gulf monarchies wealthier, more confident, and more independent without having paid any serious cost themselves.

Iran fears Islam as a political force as much as Israel. It fears independent Islamic powers that can emerge to challenge its sectarian mythology and expose the emptiness of its revolutionary claims. Israel fears Islam because it represents a real civilisational and political force that cannot be absorbed into Zionist supremacy or Western managed regional order. The Americans fear the same thing. That is why Iran never supported Islamic liberation. In practice it was often a counterrevolutionary actor, especially when autonomous Islamic mobilisation threatened its sectarian and racial supremacy claims like during the Arab Spring.

They all understand the same lesson from Syria and Palestine. Kill Gulf rulers and you will definitely get a radical Islamic jihadi like Ahmed Alsharaa and Yahya Sinwar as alternative. That is why the aim is often not regime removal but regime humiliation, regime dependency, and regime weakening. Keep the monarchies alive, but exposed. Keep them wealthy, but frightened. Keep them ruling, but stripped of strategic autonomy.

So no, this is not simply Iran versus Israel. That is the surface. The deeper war is about breaking the Gulf as an independent centre of money, energy, and political weight.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister @KirenRijiju has confirmed that Waqf property registration will now continue for the next three months without any penalty.

Over 9 lakh properties were facing delays due to portal issues and document shortages, prompting MPs & several states to request an extension. So far, 1,51,000+ properties have already been registered.
