It’s been exactly 3 years since we first minted Godjira @PGgroup_ (Dec 2021) and fast forward it’s insane to see the timeline domination (apart from Kaito and Abstract) and possibly the best Christmas gift.

Many newcomers aren’t entirely aware of the history. A bit of a long recap for those interested:

Minted a 333 genesis supply at .05 ETH in December 2021

Introduced closed discord servers, NFT alpha, whitelists giveaways and whitelist marketplace (Godjira was led the way with smaller supply and collabs which was non existent back then)

Reached a peak of 25 eth for Genesis in 2022 and launched a Gen 2 collection of 3333 (mint price of .1 ETH, could have done a massive cash grab and gave free mints to Genesis too)

Gen 2s hit a peak of 7 ETH until a fake DMCA take down claim circulated on Twitter

Thanks to @opensea who delisted us for almost a month or longer and killed our momentum (back then OS delisting was taken as a huge 🚩)

We won the case and got relisted and conducted one of the biggest events in Singapore at Zouk with over 700+ people turning up (largest in SG at that time)

Launched a Voxel collection called Jiraverse (free for genesis and gen 2) and it was a fair Dutch auction that minted out at .075 ETH

NFT bear kicked off and we realised and moved towards generating revenue outside of mints and royalties and started PG consultancy and PG capital

PG capital introduced people to investment deals like $SUPRA, $BUBBLE etc (back then it was Neo Tokyo and us only and now maybe 100s of syndicates)

Realised we were lacking in floor price, timeline domination etc and decided to take a bold step 👇

As the NFT Meta was dying towards the latter part of 2022 @shanicucic96 and I talked about how we could continue to feed the PG Community.

Shan, having made his wealth during the ICO boom of 2017, was eager to bring similar opportunities to PG. This vision led to the creation of PG Capital—a decentralized VC designed to empower our community.
