This week's Creator Spotlight is Affric, the product designer and founder of Cirffa, a Glasgow-based design company creating 3D printed lighting and accessories (Cirffa on Instagram).

He started his creative journey as a fine art photographer. Then he discovered 3D printing, and everything changed.

"3D printing to me was like magic. I could have an idea in my head, draw it in my design software, and with the click of a few buttons bring it into the real world."

He spent years exploring different making methods, but 3D printing was the one that stuck. His obsession with lighting and how it sets the mood of a space eventually turned into a business, after guests kept visiting his home, admiring his handmade lights, and asking where they could buy one.
