“There is no rule of the Constitution or the law in our country at this time. Instead, it is under the rule of ‘Asim Law’. Asim Munir is the most tyrannical dictator in history and is mentally unstable. The level of oppression during his tenure is unparalleled. His regime showed no regard for women, nor any compassion for children and the elderly. Asim Munir is capable of doing anything to satisfy his lust for power.

At this time, the entire country is being run by the orders of one man, Asim Munir, as a result of which morality has been completely buried. Never before have there been mass killings of ordinary citizens. The incidents of May 9th (2023), November 26th (2024), Azad Kashmir, and Muridke stand as the worst examples of the ruthless abuse of power. The way unarmed citizens were fired upon is unimaginable in any civilized society.

The atrocities committed against women during Asim Munir’s tenure are also unprecedented. Dr. Yasmin Rashid, an elderly cancer survivor, has been imprisoned merely for refusing to abandon Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Bushra Begum too has been kept in solitary confinement solely to exert pressure on me. What kind of law is this, where those who renounce PTI are granted amnesty, while those who remain loyal to my ideology face relentless persecution?

We prefer death over accepting slavery.

Asim Munir is inflicting every form of cruelty upon me and my wife. No political leader’s family has ever been subjected to such treatment. I wish to make it absolutely clear once again: no matter what they do, I will neither bow down nor submit to them.

My message to the nation is this: nations that embrace the clear and fearless principle of ‘freedom or death’ cannot be stopped from achieving true independence and progress. Only such principled nations ultimately prevail with honor.

I also wish to make it clear that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will hold no talks either with the Form-47 government or with the Establishment. There is no point in negotiating with a puppet government whose prime minister operates under a policy of ‘I will let you know after asking’. Negotiations are futile also because every time we have engaged in dialogue, the oppression against us has only intensified. All power rests in the hands of one man at this time: Asim Munir, who can go to any extent to extend his hold on power. Decisions regarding any negotiations will be made by our allies in the Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aain Pakistan: Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas.

All PTI office-bearers, parliamentarians, members of the Insaf Lawyers Forum, and senior lawyers must approach the High Courts and refuse to leave until hearing dates are set, because both my and Bushra Begum’s cases are being deliberately prolonged, with hearings not being scheduled, to ensure that we remain in prison. Everyone knows there is no substance in these cases and that they will eventually collapse; therefore, hearings are intentionally being withheld.

I have complete trust in Salman Akram Raja. All party-related instructions and meeting lists will be communicated through him. It is Salman Akram Raja’s responsibility to ensure that every directive is duly implemented.”

“توشہ خانہ 2 کا جھوٹا کیس، عدالت میں تیزی سے آگے بڑھایا جا رہا ہے۔ حالانکہ چند ہفتے قبل اس کیس کے مرکزی سرکاری گواہ کو عدالت میں جھوٹا ثابت کر دیا گیا تھا، اسکے بعد کیس بوگس ثابت ہو چکا، اس کے بعد میرے سابق ملٹری سیکرٹری بریگیڈئیر احمد اور ڈپٹی ملٹری سیکرٹری کرنل ریحان نے بھی تصدیق کی کہ قوائد کے عین مطابق تحفے کی دستاویزات مکمل تھیں۔ تمام وکلاء کی رائے بھی یہی تھی کہ یہ کیس جج کی طرف سے اسی وقت خارج کر دیا جانا چاہیے تھا، اس سب کے باوجود بدنیتی پر مشتمل یہ کیس ابھی تک چلایا جا رہا ہے۔

اسی طرح میرے خلاف دوسرا جھوٹا مقدمہ سائفر کیس، جو کہ پاکستان کی تاریخ کا مہنگا ترین کیس ہے، اور جس پر قومی خزانے سے عوام کے کروڑوں خرچ کیے گئے، ہائی کورٹ میں اتنا کمزور ثابت ہوا کہ بنیادی طور پر یہ ٹرائل کورٹ میں ہی قائم نہیں رہنا چاہیے تھا۔

تیسرا بڑا مقدمہ القادر یونیورسٹی کے خلاف بنایا گیا۔ القادر ایک فلاحی تعلیمی ادارہ ہے جس کا مقصد نوجوانوں کو بیک وقت سائنسی و مذہبی تعلیم فراہم کرنا ہے۔ یہ ادارہ سپریم کورٹ میں فنڈز آنے سے ایک سال قبل قائم کیا گیا تھا- ایک فلاحی ادارے پر بھونڈے سوالات اٹھا کر بے بنیاد کیس قائم کیا گیا جو کہ ٹرائل کورٹ میں ہی ختم ہو چکا تھا۔ اس کیس کے حوالے سے ہم جنوری سے اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ میں تاریخ لینے کی کوشش کر رہے تھے۔ اب چیف جسٹس اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ جسٹس ڈوگر نے 10 ماہ بعد 16 اکتوبر کو اس کی سماعت مقرر کی ہے۔

توشہ خانہ 2 میں جج ارجمند کی جلد بازی کا مقصد بھی یہی ہے کہ پہلے توشہ خانہ 2 میں سزا دے دی جائے تاکہ اس کے بعد القادر کیس میں ضمانت ہو بھی جائے تو بھی میری رہائی ممکن نہ ہوسکے۔ قابلِ غور بات یہ ہے کہ گزشتہ بارہ سالوں میں توشہ خانہ سے متعلق تین کیسز اسی جج کے پاس رہے ہیں۔ قانوناً توشہ خانہ سے گاڑیاں گھر نہیں لی جائی ج سکتیں، مگر نواز شریف نے خلافِ قانون توشہ خانہ سے بلٹ پروف مرسڈیز نکلوائی، آصف زرداری نے توشہ خانہ سے ناجائز طور پر 3 گاڑیاں نکلوائیں اور مریم نواز نے توشہ خانہ سے گاڑی نکلوانے کے بعد اسے ٹیکس ریٹرن میں دکھایا اور نہ کہیں ڈیکلیئر کیا۔ یہ سب ریکارڈ کا حصہ ہے اور ان تینوں کیسز کے ناقابل تردید ثبوت موجود ہیں مگر ان تینوں کے کیسز لگائے ہی نہیں جارہے جبکہ شفاف طریقے سے حاصل کئے گئے تحائف کے خلاف سیلیکٹو ٹرائل ہنگامی بنیادوں پر جاری ہے۔

القادر ٹرسٹ کے کیس میں چونکہ زلفی بخاری نے میرے خلاف جھوٹی گواہی دینے سے مسلسل انکار کیا، اس لئے انتقام کی سیاست کے تحت پاکستان میں موجود ان کی جائیداد کو نیلام کرنے کا عمل شروع کر دیا گیا ہے۔ یہ سیاسی انتقام کی بدترین مثال ہے۔ یہی لاقانونیت عاصم لاء ہے۔ اس وقت ملک میں عاصم لاء فیصلوں کی بنیاد ہے کہ اسکے حق میں یا خلاف گئے تو آپ کے ساتھ کیا سلوک روا رکھا جائے گا۔

جب آپ عاصم لاء کے ساتھ ہوتے ہیں تو آپ پر کرامات ہوتی ہیں، آپ کا گندم کا اتنا بڑا اسکینڈل بھی ہو تو کوئی پوچھنے والا نہیں ہوتا، آپ توشہ خانہ سے گاڑیاں بھی لے نکلتے ہیں، تو بھی آپ پر کوئی کیس نہیں بنتا۔ شوگر مافیا ہو یا لینڈ مافیا، عاصم لاء کی چھتری تلے ہیں تو آپ کسی قانون کی پکڑ میں نہیں آتے لیکن اگر آپ عاصم لاء کے خلاف جاتے ہیں تو آپ پر بےبنیاد من گھڑت کیس بنائے جاتے ہیں، جیلوں میں ڈالا جاتا ہے، آپ اور آپ کے خاندان پر ہر وہ ظلم کیا جاتا ہے جو اس ملک کی تاریخ میں کسی کے ساتھ نہیں ہوا۔

میں اپنے پاکستانیوں کو یہ پیغام دینا چاہتا ہوں کہ پاکستان میں بنیادی اخلاقی اور عدالتی اقدار کی دھجیاں بکھر گئی ہیں۔ اگر آپ آج اپنے حقوق اور قانون کی بالادستی کے لیے نہیں اٹھیں گے تو آنے والا وقت تباہ کن ہوگا۔ ناانصافی اور فسطائیت کے باعث معیشت بھی بری طرح متاثر ہوگی۔ پچھلے تین سالوں میں تیس لاکھ سے زائد پاکستانی بیرونِ ملک جا چکے ہیں۔ موجودہ نااہل اور جعلی حکومت کی پالیسیوں نے معیشت کو آگے ہی شدید نقصان پہنچایا ہے، ٹیکسٹائل ملیں اپنی برآمدات بند کر رہی ہیں اور غریب عوام تیزی سے غربت کی لکیر کے نیچے جا رہی ہے۔ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا قول ہے کہ “کفر کا نظام چل سکتا ہے مگر ظلم کا نہیں”۔ ہمیں اس ظلم کے خلاف اپنے اور اپنے ملک کے بہتر مستقبل کے لیے خود کھڑا ہونا پڑے گا۔ اس لیے پوری قوم کا پیغام دیتا ہوں کہ "تیاری پکڑیں"۔

“مجھے بار بار ڈیل آفر ہوئی اور کہا گیا کہ ملک چھوڑ کر چلا جاؤں یا خاموش ہو جاؤں تو میرے کیسز ختم کر دئیے جائیں گے، لیکن پہلے دن سے میرا موقف ہے کہ میں ان مقدمات کا سامنا عدالتوں سے کر کے ہی باہر آؤں گا کسی ڈیل کے نتیجے میں ہرگز نہیں۔ اسی لیے مجھ پر بے بنیاد 300 مقدمات بنائے گئے ہیں۔ کوئی بھی اور شخص ہوتا تو ان مقدمات کا سامنا نہیں کر پاتا لیکن میں جانتا ہوں کہ میں بے گناہ اور حق پر ہوں۔

اب توشہ خانہ کا جھوٹا کیس بھی مکمل طور پر زمین بوس ہو چکا ہے۔ پراسیکیوشن کی جانب سے پیش کیے گئے گواہان برگیڈیر احمد اور کرنل ریحان نے اقرار کیا ہے کہ توشہ خانہ کے تحفے میرے گھر نہیں گئے بلکہ توشہ خانہ میں جمع کروائے گئے اور ان کے کاغذات مکمل ہیں۔

اب اس مقدمے میں ایک دن میں بریت ہو جانی چاہیئے، خصوصی طور پر بشرٰی بیگم کی ضمانت تو ہو جانی چاہیئے کیونکہ وہ خاتون ہیں اور اس کیس میں ان پر aiding and abetting کا ہی جھوٹا الزام ہے۔

مجھے معلوم ہے کہ چھبیسویں ترمیم والی عدالتیں اوپر سے لکھے لکھائے فیصلے ہی سناتی ہیں جو قانون کے مطابق نہیں عاصم لأ کے مطابق ہوتے ہیں۔ ترتیب بھی یوں رکھی جائے گی کہ پہلے توشہ خانہ 2 میں سزا سنائی جائے گی پھر القادر میں ضمانت کا فیصلہ آئے گا۔ یہی سکرپٹ ہے اور عدلیہ فی الحال قانون کے بجائے سکرپٹ پر ہی چل رہی ہے”

“وادی تیراہ میں بمباری سے معصوم بچوں، عورتوں اور عام شہریوں کے جانی نقصان پر میں شدید رنجیدہ ہوں۔ میں ایک سال سے بارہا اس بارے میں پیغام بھیج رہا ہوں کہ ان علاقوں میں آپریشن نہ کیا جائے اور نہ ہی collateral damage کے نام پر معصوم لوگوں کی جانوں کا ضیاع ہونا چاہیئے، کیونکہ اس سے دہشتگردی میں مزید اضافہ ہوتا ہے- افسوس کی بات ہے کہ خیبرپختونخوا حکومت اس معاملے میں اسٹیبلشمنٹ کے ٹریپ میں آگئی ہے۔

ہمارے پڑوسی ملک افغانستان کی مثال سب کے سامنے ہے۔ ہمارے دور میں اشرف غنی نے ہمیں بتایا کہ آپریشن سے دہشتگردی میں اضافہ ہوتا ہے کیونکہ معصوم لوگ مارے جاتے ہیں اس سے پہلے حامد کرزئی نے امریکیوں کو بتایا تھا کہ جب بھی آپریشن ہوتا ہے بے گناہ لوگ مارے جاتے ہیں اور ان میں سے 90 فیصد طالبان کے ساتھ اس لیے شامل ہوتے ہیں تاکہ اپنے غم و غصے کا اظہار کر سکیں۔

ہم نے اپنے دور میں افغانستان کے ساتھ تعلقات بہتر کیے جس سے ہمارے قبائلی علاقوں میں بھی امن آیا، مگر عاصم منیر نے آتے ہی اس ماحول کو خراب کرنے کی کوشش کی۔ افغانستان کے خلاف دھمکی آمیز بیانات دئیے گئے، دہائیوں سے مقیم افغان مہاجرین کو خوش اسلوبی سے نہیں بلکہ دھکے دے کر ملک بدر کیا گیا اور وہاں ڈرون حملے کیے گئے جس سے تعلقات مزید خراب ہوئے۔

عاصم منیر کے یہ سب کرنے کے پیچھے یہ مقاصد ہیں
1) خیبرپختونخوا میں تحریک انصاف کی حکومت کو غیر مقبول کرنا
2) مغرب میں اینٹی طالبان لابیز کو خوش کرنا اور یہ ظاہر کرنا کہ عاصم منیر دہشتگردی کے خلاف جنگ لڑ رہا ہے

عاصم منیر ساری دنیا میں پھر رہا ہے لیکن اگر تدبر سے کام لے تو سب سے پہلے افغانستان جا کر ان سے بات کرنی چاہیے، جو ہمارا برادر اسلامی ملک بھی ہے اور جن کے ساتھ ہم ڈھائی ہزار کلو میٹر کی سرحد رکھتے ہیں۔ قبائلی علاقوں اور خطے کے امن کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ چار فریقین افغانستان کی حکومت، پاکستانی حکومت، قبائلی اور افغانی عوام مل کر بات چیت کے ذریعے مسائل کا حل نکالیں تاکہ امن کا راستہ نکلے اور مزید نقصان سے بچا جا سکے”

The key witness, whose testimony formed the very basis of this case, has been conclusively discredited in court. There is no justification for dragging this case any further, especially since the prosecution’s own witnesses, Brigadier Ahmed and Colonel Rehan, has testified that the documents of the gifts taken from Toshakhana were complete. Yet, despite all evidence and government witnesses being discredited, the hearings continue. If this were not a matter of political vendetta, both Bushra Begum and I should be acquitted of this baseless case within the week. On Thursday, a date was finally set for the Al-Qadir case as well. I still hope that the court, guided by merit and law, will deliver justice in these cases and grant me release from this fabricated charge.

Mohsin Naqvi has done to cricket what Asim Munir has done to Pakistan, left it in ruins. Every institution in Pakistan is currently in a state of collapse. Cricket, the sport that unites and inspires the nation, has suffered steadily since it was placed under the stewardship of Mohsin Naqvi. In 2021, the Pakistan team had defeated India by 10 wickets and was a confident side at that time.

The only way they can win a match is if Asim Munir and Mohsin Naqvi are sent in as opening batsmen, Sikandar Sultan Raja and Qazi Faez Isa are made the on-field umpires, and Dogar is appointed as the third umpire, because under the current setup, this seems to be their only way of winning.

Asim Munir should reflect on everything he has done just to prolong his illegitimate rule.

First, democracy was dismantled, a false flag operation on May 9 was staged to crush the country’s largest political party. Then, on February 8 (2024), the two-thirds majority vote that the people had given to me in the elections was stolen and power was handed over to the same thieves who have done nothing except loot the nation’s wealth. Despite being a dictator, Musharraf still had some degree of public support for two reasons: first, he had freed the media; second, he was holding the country’s two most corrupt families, the Sharifs and the Zardaris accountable. Now, by once again imposing this convicted corrupt mafia on the nation, the country has been pushed back by decades.

Secondly, through the 26th Amendment, the independence of the judiciary has been stripped away, turning it into just another state-controlled institution. Yet, those judges who still stand firm today for the rule of law and the supremacy of the Constitution are truly commendable. They are the heroes of the entire nation, and the whole country stands behind them for raising the banner of truth even in these most difficult times. On the other hand, those judges who have bowed before Asim Munir will never be forgiven, neither by history, nor by this nation.

Thirdly, the moral order has been dismantled, and human rights are being grievously violated. Innocent citizens have been imprisoned, subjected to military trials, and handed unlawful sentences, all without fear of accountability.

I want to send a message to my party, especially Ali Amin, Barrister Saif, and Barrister Gohar to completely cut off all contact with the establishment. If the establishment has anything to say, let them come to Adiala Jail and speak with me. The more you try to negotiate with them, the more they escalate their cruelty and try to crush our party.

What an inhumane act it is that innocent prisoner Qasim Khokhar, who had been jailed in Gujranwala for two years, was denied timely medical treatment, leading to his death in prison. Previously, several other workers have also died after being released from jail. I extend my heartfelt condolences to their families.

“Prior to the elections, although an atmosphere of fear prevailed, I had predicted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf would achieve a clean sweep, and that is exactly what happened. Today I am making another prediction: the injustice, oppression, fascism, lawlessness, and economic devastation in our country are propelling Pakistan rapidly towards a situation like the one seen in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

I instruct all PTI parliamentarians and party officials: now is the time to perform as the genuine opposition. We sought legal remedies against every injustice, including the theft of our mandate, but did not get justice; therefore, now is the time to stand firmly in opposition. “My message for Asim Munir is that, as believers in ‘La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah (There is no God but Allah and Mohammad [Peace Be Upon Him] is His messenger)’ we have pledged that, as long as we are alive, we will not bow down before the cruelty of Yazid or the tyranny of the Pharaoh, because bowing down to any being other than Allah is ‘shirk’ (associating partners with God). The psychological torture being inflicted on me and Bushra Begum in prison is being carried out by Asim Munir, and the sole purpose is to make us break down and submit.

The army did not choose General Yahya Khan to govern the country; rather, he used the army to establish a dictatorship, and unleashed a reign of oppression and tyranny upon the nation. In his greed to rule for ten years, he split our country apart. Today, Asim Munir is also doing the same: using the army to create an atmosphere of lawlessness and fascism in our country.

Asim Munir has left no stone unturned for the extension of his illegitimate rule for ten years. First, he strangled democracy. By staging the false flag of May 9th (2023) he attempted to crush the country’s largest political party. Then, on February 8th (2024), when people voted in large numbers for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to give the party a clean sweep, that election was shamelessly stolen. The people’s mandate was taken and handed to convicted criminals. After that, the judiciary was incapacitated and, through the 26th Amendment, judges were subjugated. The judiciary has been turned into nothing but a subordinate department of the government.

Thirdly, restrictions were placed on the freedom of the media. The notion of a free press in Pakistan has been eradicated. The tenuous hold of democracy that existed in Pakistan — consisting, to some degree, of an independent judiciary and a free media — has been terminated by Asim Munir. Democracy in the country is suspended, human rights violations are at their peak, the judiciary is subservient, and the media is intimidated.

Ever since Asim Munir took over as Army Chief, he has been attempting to sour relations with Afghanistan. Upon taking office, he first issued threats to Afghanistan, then expelled Afghan nationals who had lived here for three generations, followed by drone strikes there, making every effort to provoke them into fighting Pakistan, creating a climate of terrorism. He is doing this to portray himself as a “mujahid” (warrior) to lobbies in the West that oppose the current Afghan government, in order to convince them that he is the one who can fight the war against terrorism.

Because of this oppression, Pakistan’s economy is experiencing historically slow growth. Foreign investment is virtually zero. Never in Pakistan’s history has investment been as low as it is at this time. In three years the national debt has doubled. Every Pakistani is now trapped in a quagmire of debt. Until a government of the people is established, it will not be possible to solve the country's economic challenges.

The extent of moral decay in our country is unprecedented. Atrocities have been inflicted upon people here that are not even seen in wartime. Women have been dragged in the streets, children have been seized and harassed, and the sanctity of the elderly has been violated. Never before have any politician's non-political female relatives been treated as badly as my wife and other family members have been. When a state is handed over to thieves and plunderers, tales of whose corruption every child knows, morality is bound to be destroyed like this.”

“I am a believer in ‘La Ilaha Illallah’ (There is no god but Allah). This declaration liberates a believer from every form of fear and slavery. My life is in the hands of Allah, not in the hands of Asim Munir. Our faith alone is the guarantor of our ‘Haqeeqi Azadi (True Freedom)’, for it grants the strength to break free from the chains of fear.

I continue to be held in solitary confinement in an effort to break me. My personal doctors have not been permitted to examine me for one year. Access to newspapers and television is blocked for weeks at a time. Even family members and lawyers are barred from meeting me. I have not been allowed to meet my political colleagues for a year and a half. My message to Asim Munir is this: no matter how much pressure you put on me, or which of my family members you throw into prison, I will neither bow down nor accept this oppression. I will continue my struggle for true freedom, come what may.

In an attempt to appease the lobby that opposes the current government in Afghanistan, Asim Munir, in his short-sightedness, is destroying the peace that was established in the region during our tenure. Where there should have been a strong relationship, things are being made worse. It grieves me deeply that after decades of hospitality, our Afghan brothers are now being forcibly pushed out of the country. At a time when Afghanistan has been struck by an earthquake, we ought to be helping them, not expelling them.

I direct Ali Amin Gandapur to go to Afghanistan, sit with them, and hold discussions regarding mutual issues and peace and security so that the situation can be prevented from deteriorating further. The sham federal government must answer: if Maryam Nawaz can travel to Japan and Thailand, why should the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa not be able to travel to Afghanistan for peace in his province?

The ongoing military operations, drone strikes, and forced displacements of our own people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are, in reality, an attempt to undermine Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government that was formed with a public mandate. Ali Amin Gandapur must firmly resist this operation. The people of the province are already devastated by floods. If drone strikes and military operations are not stopped, it will be a grave injustice. Already, many of our police personnel have embraced martyrdom. As long as this operation continues, the hardships of the people will increase, and terrorism will intensify further.

At this moment, the entire country is submerged in floods. People have suffered immense losses because of these floods in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The whole nation must unite to confront this situation. I would surely be conducting fundraising and telethons if I were not in prison. From here, I call upon my nation to contribute generously and wholeheartedly to relief efforts for the assistance of flood victims.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf must also fully participate in the protest against the attack on the political gathering in Balochistan.”

عاصم منیر افغانستان کی موجودہ حکومت کی مخالف لابی کو خوش کرنے کی کوشش میں کم عقلی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے ہمارے دور میں خطے میں قائم ہونے والے امن کو تباہ کر رہا ہے۔ جہاں ہمارے بہترین تعلقات ہونے چاہییں وہاں جان بوجھ کر حالات خراب کیے جا رہے ہیں- میرا دل اس پر بھی بہت رنجیدہ ہے کہ ہم نے کئی دہائیوں کی مہمان نوازی کے باوجود موجودہ دور میں اپنے افغان بھائیوں کو دھکے دے کر ملک سے باہر نکالا ہے۔ حالانکہ وہاں زلزلہ بھی آیا ہے اور ہمیں ان کی مدد کرنی چاہیئے-

علی امین گنڈاپور کو خصوصی ہدایت کرتا ہوں کہ افغانستان جائیں اور ان کے ساتھ جا کر بیٹھیں اور باہمی مسائل اورامن و امان کے حوالے سے بات کریں تاکہ حالات کو مزید بگاڑ سے بچایا جا سکے۔ جعلی وفاقی حکومت کو اس بات کا جواب دینا چاہیے، مریم نواز جاپان اور تھائی لینڈ جا سکتی ہے تو خیبر پختونخوا کا وزیراعلیٰ اپنے صوبے میں امن کے لیے افغانستان کیوں نہیں جا سکتا؟

خیبر پختونخوا میں اپنے ہی لوگوں کے خلاف ملٹری آپریشن، ڈرون حملوں اور علاقوں سے بے دخلی کروانے کا عمل دراصل تحریک انصاف کی عوامی مینڈیٹ سے بننے والی حکومت کو غیر مقبول کرنے کے لیے کیا جا رہا ہے۔ علی امین گنڈا پور کو اس آپریشن کے خلاف بھر پور مزاحمت کرنی چاہیئے۔ صوبے کی عوام پہلے ہی سیلاب سے تباہ حال ہے۔ اگر وہاں ڈرون حملے اور آپریشن نہ رکا تو یہ بہت بڑی زیادتی ہو گی۔ ہمارے کتنے پولیس اہلکار بھی جام شہادت نوش کر چکے ہیں۔ یہ آپریشن جب تک بند نہیں ہو گا، لوگوں کی مشکلات میں مزید اضافہ ہوتا رہے گا اور دہشتگردی مزید بڑھے گی۔

اس وقت پورا ملک سیلاب میں ڈوبا ہوا ہے۔ پنجاب اور خیبر پختونخوا کے سیلاب کی وجہ سے لوگوں کا بہت نقصان ہوا ہے۔ پوری قوم کو یکجا ہو کر اس صورتحال کا مقابلہ کرنا ہو گا۔ میں اگر جیل سے باہر ہوتا تو ضرور فنڈ ریزنگ اور ٹیلی تھون کرتا مگر اب اپنی قوم سے کہتا ہوں کہ وہ بڑھ چڑھ کر اور دل کھول کر ریلیف کے کاموں اور سیلاب متاثرین کی امداد میں حصہ لیں۔

بلوچستان میں سیاسی جلسے پر ہونے والے حملے کے خلاف احتجاج میں پوری تحریک انصاف کو شرکت کرنی چاہیے۔”

یہ وہی طرز عمل ہے جو سقوط ڈھاکہ کے وقت یحیٰی خان کا تھا۔ اس نے بھی صرف اپنے اقتدار کی طوالت کی کوشش میں اندھا ہو کر عوامی آواز کو دبانے کے لیے ہر قسم کی فسطائیت بپا کی اور بالآخر ملک کو توڑ دیا۔ یہ ساری تفصیلات حمود الرحمان کمیشن رپورٹ میں موجود ہیں۔ عاصم منیر بھی اپنے اقتدار کو طول دینے کے لئے ملک میں ظلم کر رہا ہے اور ملک کو کمزور کر رہا ہے۔

1971 اور موجودہ دور میں بہرحال فرق صرف یہ ہے کہ آج عوام باشعور ہے۔ سوشل میڈیا نے تمام حقائق عوام پر واضح کر دئیے ہیں اور عوام ظلم کے خلاف اپنے حقوق کے لیے کھڑا ہونا سیکھ چکی ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے یہ ظلم کا نظام جلد ختم ہو کر رہے گا۔ وقت آ گیا ہے کہ عوام کی آواز سنی جائے۔

ملک میں سیلاب کی وجہ سے ہر جانب تباہی ہے۔ پاکستان کی معیشت پہلے ہی تباہ حال ہے اب سیلاب کی وجہ سے لوگوں کی فصلیں، مال مویشی سب ڈوب گئے ہیں۔ جس سے زرعی معیشت مکمل تباہ ہو گئی ہے اور اس کا اثر پورے ملک پر پڑے گا۔ ایسے میں اہم ہے کہ سیلاب زدہ علاقوں کی امداد کے لیے بلا تفریق سب اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔ اگر میں جیل سے باہر ہوتا تو اس مقصد کے لیے ضرور ٹیلی تھون اور فنڈ ریزنگ کرتا۔ محض حکومتی ادارے اتنی بڑی آفت کا مقابلہ نہیں کر سکتے بلکہ ہر ایک شخص کو اپنا حصہ ڈال کر من حیث القوم اس کا مقابلہ کرنا ہو گا۔ مستقبل میں سیلاب کی تباہ کاری سے بچنے کے لیے ہنگامی بنیادوں پر زیادہ سے زیادہ شجر کاری کرنا ہو گی۔

بلوچستان میں اختر مینگل کے والد کی برسی پر حملے کی شدید مذمت اور اختر مینگل سے اظہار تعزیت کرتا ہوں۔ بلوچستان کے حالات دن بدن خراب ہوتے جا رہے ہیں کیونکہ وہاں پر عوامی نمائندگان کو حکومت کرنے کی اجازت نہیں دی جاتی۔ 8 ستمبر کو محمود اچکزئی کی ہڑتال کی کال پر تحریک انصاف بھر پور شرکت کرے۔ بلوچستان کی عوام کو دہشتگردی اور ہائبرڈ ماحول سے نجات ملنی چاہیے۔

خیبر پختونخوا میں تحریک انصاف کی حکومت کو کمزور کرنے کے لیے وہاں آپریشن کا آغاز کیا گیا ہے جسے خیبرپختونخوا حکومت کو فوری طور پر بند کروانا ہو گا۔ علی امین گنڈا پور کو خصوصی ہدایت کرتا ہوں کہ صوبے کی عوام پہلے ہی سیلاب کی وجہ سے متاثر ہیں لہٰذا اس آپریشن کے خلاف بھرپور مزاحمت کر کے اسے رکوائیں۔ قبائلی اضلاع میں ہونے والے ڈرون حملے بند کروانا خیبرپختونخوا حکومت کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ عوام کی جان و مال کا تحفظ ہماری حکومت کی ذمہ داری ہے۔

“I appeal to the people of Pakistan to take part, with their customary zeal, in the ongoing rescue and relief efforts amidst the tragic floods engulfing the country. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will also play its role for the flood-affected without any discrimination.

I have always endeavored to raise awareness regarding climate change and the devastation it brings. Earlier, we launched the “Billion Tree Project” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upon coming into the federal government, initiated the “Ten Billion Tree Project.” Alongside this, we began work on several vital environmental protection initiatives, including small, medium, and large-scale dams as well as national parks, which have helped mitigate ecological destruction. Trees are the true guardians of the environment. Rapid progress on such projects must be made a national priority.

My heart is deeply grieved by the loss of lives and devastation caused by the earthquake in Afghanistan. We stand firmly with our Afghan brothers in this hour of trial. I also express profound concern and sorrow over the forced expulsion of Afghans from Pakistan.

Drone strikes and military operations against our own people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must come to an immediate halt. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and the provincial government must vigorously resist such actions. Those regions are already reeling under the destruction of floods; in such circumstances, launching operations, drone attacks, or displacements is akin to rubbing salt into fresh wounds.

In light of my directions, the decision of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to boycott the by-elections is commendable. The candidates who have withdrawn their nomination papers also deserve appreciation, as do the members who have resigned from the parliamentary committees. I further instruct them that if they have any vehicles or privileges still in use, they must return them immediately. The final date of the Peshawar rally shall be decided in consultation during September, keeping in view the flood situation.

For three years, despite enduring oppression and coercion, and despite being on the side of truth, I called for dialogue in the national interest. Yet, political vengeance was taken to its extreme against me and my family. Our people were fired upon with live bullets, and even our Opposition Leader in the Parliament was disqualified. No space for dialogue remains after such actions.

They may imprison me or whomever they wish from my family but neither shall I retreat from my stance, nor will I bow before them.”

میری ہدایات کی روشنی میں تحریک انصاف کا ضمنی انتخابات کے بائیکاٹ کا فیصلہ قابل تحسین ہے۔ کاغذات نامزدگی واپس لینے والے امیدواران بھی داد کے مستحق ہیں۔ جن ارکان نے اسمبلی کی کمیٹیوں سے استعفی دیا ہے وہ بھی قابل تعریف ہیں۔ ان کو یہ بھی ہدایت کرتا ہوں اگر ان کے زیر استعمال کوئی بھی گاڑی یا مراعات ہیں تو اسے فوری واپس کریں۔ پشاور جلسے کی حتمی تاریخ کا فیصلہ ستمبر میں ہی سیلاب کی صورتحال دیکھ کر مشاورت سے کیا جائے۔

تین سال ظلم و جبر سہنے اور حق پر ہونے کے باوجود میں نے ملکی مفاد میں مذاکرات کی بات کی مگر مجھ سمیت میرے خاندان سے سیاسی انتقام کی انتہا کر دی گئی ، ہمارے لوگوں پر سیدھی گولیاں چلائی گئیں اور پارلیمان میں ہمارے اپوزیشن لیڈرز تک کو نا اہل کر دیا گیا اس کے بعد مذاکرات کی گنجائش باقی نہیں رہتی۔

یہ مجھ سمیت میرے خاندان میں سے جس مرضی کو قید کر دیں میں اپنے موقف سے پیچھے نہیں ہٹوں گا اور نہ ہی ان کے آگے جھکوں گا”

"Ali Amin Gandapur should petition the Supreme Court for permission to meet me. Earlier, during the budget process, no meetings or consultation took place with me. Ali Amin must come and brief me on governance, law and order, and other important provincial matters. For this, efforts must be made at every forum, including the Supreme Court.

I emphasize once again that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government must take a strong stand against the federal government’s military operations and drone strikes against our own citizens. During our tenure, peace had returned to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal areas, and not a single drone strike took place. Now, the situation is being deliberately worsened in order to weaken the only party with a genuine public mandate.

Military operations are not the solution for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal areas. Their issues should be resolved through dialogue with the help of local representatives. Drone strikes and military operations only increase terrorism. These operations neither have the support of the people, nor of local representatives, nor of political parties. How can such operations ever succeed?

I am ashamed of the treatment meted out to Afghan refugees. They are our Muslim brothers who had taken refuge here, and to expel them in such a humiliating manner is against both Islamic tradition and humanity.

The recent sentences handed down by the Faisalabad court to 75 of our members and workers in yet another false case expose this oppressive system even further. We must all stand united against this tyranny. Victory will be our destiny when we resist together.

In my opinion, contesting by-elections on the seats vacated through the false convictions in the May 9th cases would be tantamount to legitimizing these fabricated sentences. Therefore, the party should deliberate on this matter and present its final recommendations to me tomorrow. The seat of Hammad Azhar, however, has fallen vacant following the demise of Mian Azhar. We will contest the election on that seat.

A grand rally will be held in Peshawar against the ongoing oppression and fascism across the country, the date of which will be announced by the party.

Severe floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan have caused massive destruction, claiming hundreds of precious lives and affecting millions of people. It was for combatting such impacts of climate change that I initiated projects like the Billion Tree campaign. Only such projects can save our environment. Otherwise, we will continue to witness such disasters year after year.”

”ظلم و جبر کے بدترین دور میں 5 اگست کی کال پر پاکستانی قوم کا بڑی تعداد میں نکل کر احتجاج ریکارڈ کروانا ناصرف قابل تعریف ہے بلکہ ملک پر چھائی ظلم کی اندھیری رات میں طلوع سحر کی نوید ہے۔ عوام نے جیسے تمام تر فسطائیت کے باوجود کل سڑکوں پر نکل کر اپنے آئینی حقوق کے لیے احتجاج ریکارڈ کروایا وہ قابل تحسین ہے۔

میں بالخصوص پنجاب کی عوام کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں جنہوں نے چھاپوں اور گرفتاریوں کے باوجود خوف کے سب بتوں کو توڑ دیا۔ سندھ، بلوچستان، گلگت بلتستان، آزاد کشمیر، پنجاب اور خیبرپختونخوا کی عوام جس تعداد میں 5 اگست کو ملک گیر احتجاج میں شامل ہوئے وہ شاباش کے مستحق ہیں۔ لیڈر شپ پر پریشر کے باوجود بھرپور ملک گیر احتجاج عوامی شعور و بیداری کا شاندار مظہر ہے۔

پاکستان کی تاریخ میں آج تک کسی ڈکٹیٹر کے مارشل لأ دور میں اس قدر ظلم نہیں ہوا جتنا “عاصم لأ” میں عاصم منیر کر رہا ہے۔ موجودہ دور کا موازنہ صرف یحییٰ خان کے دور سے کیا جا سکتا ہے جب عوامی رائے کو روندنے کی غرض سے مجیب الرحمٰن کی پارٹی اور عوام پر فسطائیت کے پہاڑ توڑے گئے اور محض اپنے اقتدار کے لیے ملک کو دو لخت کردیا تھا۔ آج ملک میں جو ہورہا ہے وہ سقوط ڈھاکہ کے دور کی یاد تازہ کرتا ہے۔ تب بھی جمہوریت کا گلہ گھونٹ کر قانون کی بالادستی کا مکمل خاتمہ کر دیا گیا تھا۔ میڈیا کی آزادی اور احتجاج کا حق چھین لیا گیا تھا اور ملک میں صرف جنگل کا قانون نافذ تھا۔ اس جبر کے نظام سے نجات صرف تب ممکن ہے جب یہ قوم یکجا ہو کر کھڑی ہو گی۔

ہماری تحریک کا اگلا اہم دن 14 اگست ہے۔ یہ وہ دن ہے جب ہمارے آباؤاجداد نے قربانیاں دے کر انگریزوں سے تو آزادی حاصل کر لی تھی لیکن قوم آج تک “حقیقی آزادی” سے محروم ہے۔ اس ملک میں جب تک آئین و قانون کی بحالی نہیں ہو گی آزادی نہیں ملے گی۔ 14 اگست کو وطن عزیز میں جاری فسطائیت کے خلاف پوری قوم ایک مرتبہ پھر بھرپور انداز میں نکلے۔

ہمیں اس مافیا سے آزادی لینا ہو گی۔ اور آزادی لینا تب ہی ممکن ہوتا ہے جب کوئی قوم قربانی دینے کو تیار ہوتی ہے۔ میں خود اپنی قوم کی خاطر جیل میں بدترین حالات کاٹ رہا ہوں۔ یہاں موجود قیدی بھی اعتراف کرتے ہیں کہ ایسا سلوک تو کسی عام قیدی کے ساتھ بھی نہیں ہوتا جیسا کہ میرے ساتھ کیا جا رہا ہے۔ مجھے توڑنے کی ناکام کوشش میں میری اہلیہ بشریٰ بیگم کو بھی بدترین حالات میں رکھا جا رہا ہے، مگر میں پھر بھی آئین و قانون کی بالادستی اور جمہوریت کی بحالی کے لیے قربانی دے رہا ہوں۔ حقیقی آزادی حاصل کرنے کے لیے ہم سب کو مل کر قربانی دینا ہو گی۔

میں اس “ڈاکو، ڈفر الائنس” کے آگے کبھی نہیں جھکوں گا اور عاصم لاء کو کبھی تسلیم نہیں کروں گا۔ مجھے ساری زندگی بھی جیل میں رہنا پڑے میں اس کے لئے تیار ہوں!!

یاد رکھیں کہ بہادر قوموں کو دنیا کی کوئی طاقت شکست نہیں دے سکتی۔ تمام پاکستانی جیل جانے کا خوف اپنے دل سے نکال دیں۔ میرا تحریک انصاف کے ذمہ داران کو بھی خصوصی پیغام ہے کہ اپنے دلوں سے جیل کا ڈر نکال کر لوگوں کی قیادت کریں، اور جمہور کی آواز پر لبیک کہتے ہوئے قیادت فراہم کریں۔

خیبرپختونخوا میں آپریشن صرف اور صرف تحریک انصاف کو کمزور کرنے کے لیے ہو رہا ہے-ایسا ہی آپریشن اے این پی کے دور میں بھی کیا گیا تھا اور مشرف دور کی ناکام پالیسیوں کو اپنا کر اے این پی خیبرپختونخوا میں ختم ہو کر رہ گئی۔ میرا ہمیشہ یہ مؤقف رہا ہے کہ فوجی آپریشن کسی مسئلے کا حل نہیں ہوتا بلکہ اس سے دہشتگردی، نفرت اور تباہی مزید پھیلتی ہے۔ قبائلی علاقوں میں کوئی نیا آپریشن ہرگز نہیں ہونا چاہیئے۔ وہاں کے مسائل کا حل مقامی اور عوام کے منتخب نمائندوں کی بات چیت سے ہی ممکن ہو گا۔ صرف افغانستان سے ردعمل کی امید میں افغان مہاجرین کو جس بے دردی سے بے دخل کیا گیا، وہ بھی افسوسناک ہے۔ افغانستان سے کوئی ردعمل نہیں آیا تو اپنے ہی لوگوں پر بندوق اٹھا کر حالات خراب کرنے کی افسوسناک کوشش جاری ہے۔

ایک مرتبہ پھر واضح کر رہا ہوں کہ جن ممبران اسمبلی کو نا حق نااہل کیا گیا ہے ان کی نشستوں پر کوئی انتخاب نہیں لڑے گا۔ ان لوگوں نے تمام مشکلات کے باوجود تحریک انصاف پر یقین کیا اور پارٹی کا ساتھ نہیں چھوڑا لہٰذا یہ سیٹیں انہی کا حق ہیں۔ ضمنی الیکشن میں حصہ لینے کا مطلب ہو گا کہ ہم ان کے ناجائز عمل کو جائز قرار دے رہے ہیں۔ ضمنی الیکشن میں حصہ لینا ہمارے لوگوں کی کمر میں چھرا گھونپنے کے مترادف ہو گا-

آئین و قانون کی بحالی کے لیے کامیاب آل پارٹیز کانفرنس کے انعقاد، قومی ڈائیلاگ کے آغاز اور اہم قومی مسائل کے حل پر متفقہ تجاویز پیش کرنے پر تمام شرکأ اور آرگنائزز خصوصاً “تحریک تحفظ آئین” کے عہدیداران مبارکباد کے مستحق ہیں”

“It is not Martial Law but ‘Asim Law’ that is imposed in Pakistan.

The country is being run under Asim Munir's law, and the ISI is giving it protection. Whatever strengthens Asim Munir's power is made the law of the land. He is prepared to sacrifice every national interest to maintain his hold on power. This Army Chief is disgracing the military just as Yahya Khan once did.

At this time, the Senate, the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, and the President, are all unconstitutional. A sham constitutional court was created, which reduced our seats in parliament. In an unprecedented move, one party’s seats were simply handed over to others. The constitutional courts, which are meant to deliver justice, are now filled with Asim Munir’s personal minions. Sikandar Sultan Raja perpetrated an historic electoral fraud, and instead of being held accountable, he was granted an extension to safeguard that rigging. A judge of the Islamabad High Court is not hearing my appeals for seven months because he too receives instructions from Asim Munir. At this time, Asim Munir’s law prevails in our country, as if he owns Pakistan.

The judiciary, state institutions, and democracy have been systematically dismantled. Military courts have been declared legal, an act that is essentially a vote of no confidence by the judiciary against itself. My wife, Bushra Bibi, is being used as a weapon to break me, but let me make this absolutely clear: I would rather die than accept Asim Munir’s monarchy. This is nothing more than a group that has forcibly seized control of the country.
A ‘Dacoits-and-Duffers Alliance’ has taken full control of Pakistan. The 26th Amendment has completely abolished the independence of the judiciary. Judicial orders hold no weight anymore; even an ordinary policeman can openly defy a judge’s directives. Today, during court proceedings, the judge repeatedly ordered that my family, waiting outside the prison gates, be brought inside and even halted proceedings several times, yet my family was not allowed in. This shows that the judge’s order holds no value for the police. Our justice system has been decimated.

Nations collapse when incompetent people are put in charge.

Asim Munir has assumed control of the country, while Mohsin Naqvi is busy destroying cricket. What qualifications do they have? Due to Mohsin Naqvi, our test cricket team has dropped to ninth place. When such unqualified individuals are placed in charge, this is the fate that befalls every sector, not just sports. A country is doomed when the incompetent are imposed upon institutions through force.

The torture inflicted upon me has intensified. I am kept in solitary confinement in my cell for 22 hours a day. I am denied books, newspapers, and television to keep me cut off from current affairs. This is not just a violation of local law but a grave breach of international human rights standards. Today, following a court order, I was given only a single book after three hours, while my family has already sent over two dozen books in the past month and a half. Ever since the new jail superintendent Ghafoor Anjum has taken over, torture against me has drastically intensified under his supervision.

We want peace in Pakistan. Whoever stands for peace and participates in peace marches must be supported wholeheartedly.

It has now been seven months since I have been allowed to speak to my children. It is their right to approach the courts, and I have personally told my sons to take the matter to international courts on the basis of fundamental human rights. They are not asking anyone in the United States for help; they are only raising their voices for their rights. Even when President Trump first came into office, I said that decisions about Pakistan must be made in Pakistan. 1/2

پاکستان کی تاریخ میں کسی سیاسی شخصیت کے ساتھ ایسا سلوک نہیں کیا گیا جیسا میرے ساتھ کیا جا رہا ہے۔ نواز شریف نے اربوں کی کرپشن کی مگر اسے ہر سہولت کے ساتھ جیل میں رکھا گیا۔کسی سیاسی رہنما کی بے گناہ غیر سیاسی اہلیہ کو کبھی ایسے جیل میں نہیں ڈالا گیا جیسے بشرٰی بیگم کے ساتھ کیا گیا ہے۔ میں صرف اور صرف اپنی قوم اور آئین کی بالادستی کے لیے ملکی تاریخ کی مشکل ترین جیل کاٹ رہا ہوں۔ جبر و فسطائیت کا عالم یہ ہے کہ مجھے وضو کے لیے جو پانی دیا جاتا ہے وہ تک گندہ ہوتا ہے اور اس میں مٹی ملی ہوتی ہے، جس سے کوئی انسان وضو نہیں کر سکتا۔ میری کتابیں جو اہل خانہ کی جانب سے جیل حکام تک پہنچائی جاتی ہیں وہ بھی کئی ماہ سے نہیں دی گئیں، ٹی وی اور اخبار بھی بند ہے۔ بار بار پرانی کتب کا مطالعہ کر کے میں وقت گزارتا رہا ہوں مگر اب وہ سب ختم ہو چکی ہیں۔ میرے تمام بنیادی انسانی حقوق پامال ہیں۔ قانون اور جیل مینول کے مطابق ایک عام قیدی والی سہولیات بھی مجھے میسر نہیں ہیں۔ بار بار درخواست کے باوجود میری میرے بچوں سے بات نہیں کروائی جا رہی۔ میری سیاسی ملاقاتوں پر بھی پابندی اور ہے صرف "اپنی مرضی" کے بندوں سے ملوا دیتے ہیں اور دیگر ملاقاتیں بند ہیں۔

میں واضح پیغام دینا چاہتا ہوں کہ اس وقت پارٹی کا ہر فرد اپنے تمام اختلافات فوری طور پر بھلا کر صرف اور صرف پانچ اگست کی تحریک پر توجہ مرکوز رکھے۔ مجھے فلحال اس تحریک کا کوئی مومینٹم نظر نہیں آ رہا۔ میں 78 سالہ نظام کے خلاف جنگ لڑ رہا ہوں، جس میں میری کامیابی یہی ہے کہ عوام تمام تر ظلم کے باوجود میرے ساتھ کھڑی ہے۔ 8 فروری کو عوام نے بغیر نشان کے جس طرح تحریک انصاف پر اعتماد کر کے آپ لوگوں کو ووٹ دئیے اس کے بعد سب کا فرض بنتا ہے کہ عوام کی آواز بنیں۔ اگر اس وقت تحریک انصاف کے ارکان آپسی اختلافات میں پڑ کر وقت ضائع کریں گے تو یہ انتہائی افسوسناک اور قابل سرزنش عمل ہے۔ پارٹی میں جس نے بھی گروہ بندی کی اسے میں پارٹی سے نکال دوں گا۔ میں اپنی نسلوں کے مستقبل کی جنگ لڑ رہا ہوں اور اس کے لیے قربانیاں دے رہا ہوں ایسے میں پارٹی میں اختلافات پیدا کرنا میرے مقصد اور ویژن کو نقصان پہنچانے کے مترادف ہے۔
فارم 47 کی حکومت نے چھبیسویں ترمیم کے ذریعے عدلیہ کے ہاتھ پاؤں باندھ کر اسے مفلوج کر دیا ہے۔ چھبیسویں ترمیم والی عدالتوں سے ٹاوٹ ججوں کے ذریعے جیسے سیاہ فیصلے آ رہے ہیں وہ آپ سب کے سامنے ہیں۔ ہمیں عدلیہ کو آزاد کروانے کے لیے اپنی بھر پور جدوجہد کرنی ہو گی کیونکہ عدلیہ کی آزادی کے بغیر کسی ملک و قوم کی بقاء ممکن ہی نہیں ہے۔

Important Message from Former Prime Minister Imran Khan from Adiala Jail - 22 July 2025

“Never in the history of Pakistan has any political leader been subjected to the treatment that I am currently enduring. Nawaz Sharif committed corruption worth billions and was nevertheless granted every possible comfort in prison. In contrast, never before has the innocent and apolitical spouse of a political figure been imprisoned under such inhumane conditions as those imposed upon Bushra Bibi.

I am enduring the harshest prison term in the country’s history solely for the supremacy of the Constitution and in service of my nation. The level of oppression and authoritarianism is such that even the water I have for ablution is filthy and contaminated with dirt, unfit for any human being. Books sent to me by my family have been withheld for months. Access to television and newspapers has also been suspended. I have spent countless hours re-reading the same old books, but now even those are no longer available.

All my basic human rights have been violated. Even the minimum facilities accorded to ordinary prisoners under the law and the jail manual are denied to me. Despite repeated requests, I have not been allowed to speak to my children. Political meetings have also been restricted; I am only permitted to meet certain ‘choice individuals’, while all other interactions are barred.

Let me make this absolutely clear: every member of the party must immediately set aside all internal differences and focus solely on the movement planned for August 5th. I do not see any meaningful momentum building behind this initiative at present. I am waging a battle against a 78-year-old system, and my greatest success is that despite unprecedented oppression, the public stands firmly with me.

On February 8th (2024), the people expressed their trust in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf by voting for you even in the absence of an electoral symbol. After such a clear mandate, it is the moral and political responsibility of every party member to become the voice of the people. It will be nothing short of disgraceful and condemnable if PTI leaders waste time on internal conflicts at this critical juncture. Anyone found engaging in factionalism within the party will be expelled. I am fighting for the future of our generations, and every sacrifice I make is for that cause. To create rifts within the party at this time would be a direct betrayal of my mission and vision.

The so-called government formed through Form 47 has crippled the judiciary through the 26th Constitutional Amendment. The way biased judges are now delivering blatantly unjust verdicts under these courts is visible to the entire nation. We must launch a robust campaign to liberate the judiciary, for no nation can survive, let alone progress, without judicial independence.”
