As Israel remembers its war dead, critics say it reinforces a one-sided narrative of sacrifice that excludes Palestinians.
Israel marks Memorial Day as Palestinians not welcome https://t.co/b9rXLvjAWQ
BREAKING: At least 1,151 Palestinians have been killed and more than 11,885 wounded in attacks by the Israeli army and settlers across the occupied West Bank since Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza began in October 2023.

Lebanon is no longer 10,452 km2, Lebanon is now 9,252 km2 as Israel occupying parts and controlling ~1,200 km2, violating Lebanon's sovereignty and Vienna Conventions with absolutely no consequences.
And the International Court of Justice remains silent.
The Israeli army has confirmed it has carried out new attacks against what it calls threats south of the new “yellow line” in Lebanon.

Israel is obliterating the village of Markaba in South Lebanon.
Another centuries-old village being reduced to rubble — home by home.
This is happening despite a “ceasefire.”
A war crime in broad daylight.
And not a peep from the complicit international community, of course.
BREAKING: The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, has reached 72,549, says the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Palestinians in the occupied West Bank lose about 90 hours a month at Israeli checkpoints as new illegal settlements emerging in recent weeks carve up their land.
Al Jazeera’s @nour_odeh reports that nearly 2,000 settler attacks last month have also upended daily life.
We visit, we assess, we plan, and we act - this is why urgent emergency response entails…

Following a camp assessment that revealed urgent sanitation challenges, The Sameer Project completed the installation of 9 bathrooms at Durrat Al-Shamal camp in Deir al-Balah on April 6. This is becoming a common but huge issue we see in every camp - that lack of bathroom facilities, toilets, and proper piping and waste removal to create a healthy and safe environment where families live.
This initiative, with a total cost of $7,905 included sewage pits, piping, materials, a plumber for installation, labor, and transportation - bringing essential infrastructure to support 8 family groups.
Access to safe and private sanitation is more than a basic need, it’s a matter of dignity, health, and protection. These new facilities will help reduce the risk of disease, skin infections, and pests, while restoring a sense of safety and privacy for families.
Real impact starts with listening, observing, assessing, and acting. Providing what families truly need. Donate to our Rebuild Gaza Campaign in our bio, you can assist: https://t.co/jw67Ah9X72
