I really don't understand this response if you can reverse park you get in quicker and easier and get out faster. You require smaller spaces for reverse parking than trying to line up from the front. I disagree with this, it is just a matter of keeping a proper following distance & being a little patient.

I have now put it out in the public to read for free online and still people are uninterested in actually reading it. I worry that authors are on the brink of extinction, as the industry simply isn't sustainable in an age when noone reads anymore.

The reality is that in South Africa whether you are white or black, we all tend to carry our own persecution complex for our own unique reasons because we live in a country with abject poverty, high unemployment and high levels of violence. In addition to that, many individuals have suffered real persecution. In 1991, I personally experienced a group attack in a township. Pre-1989 black people were able to seek refugee status in the US, now 35-years later, it is white Afrikaners seeking such status. I hope that the long interviews are designed to confirm whether or not actual individual persecution has occurred and whether or not people do fear for their lives. If this is bona fide, then don’t these people deserve to be removed from a traumatic situation?

Well done on starting something in this space. I scan read. I did alot of this sort of personal financial planning stuff from 1994-1998. I would suggest adding value by maybe giving a Google Sheet with a budget template. People don't read everything but if they know that if there is something practical attached it could gain traction. People might just share so others can get the sheet.
