@masknerd Thanks! The air quality has been fluctuating a lot and hard to keep track when it’s good. Is 3M 8577 preferred over 3M 8271? The later is cheaper and more readily available. Unfortunately, my teenager is not willing to wear a P100 in school.

@masknerd I live near the Eaton fire and has been Coviding, so have some N95s handy. But, with Cvid we could reuse masks. Can we reuse them in the current environment in LA?

@j_g_allen We are near the Eaton fire in LA. Switching my teenager from 3M Aura N95 to 3M P95 for school while the air quality remains awful. Is 3M 8577 better than (and necessary over) 3M 8271? Need to make a quick decision. Thanks 🙏🏼

@kprather88 We are close to the Eaton fire and trying to navigate life with the bad air quality. We have air purifiers and N95s. But, unsure about furnace filters. Do they need carbon pre filters on top of MERV 13? Also, are P95s better for school for teenagers (if they fit)?

@joaquinlife Are disposable P95s at Home Depot any good? Asking for my teenager in school since he will refuse to wear a gas mask to school. We are pretty close to the Eaton fire.

@kprather88 I’m very concerned about the air quality is LA. We are near the Eaton fire. Schools are open with regular schedule and recess/lunch outdoors. My kids are wearing N95s but feel that’s not enough.

@joeyfox85 Hi, I live near the Eaton fire in LA in a single family home. We have Merv13 filters on our HVAC (just need heat). Can we add a carbon prefilter without breaking the system? I don’t know if it draws outside air or just circulates indoor air. It’s a very old system.

@DonEford Hi, I need your advice. I got my first Novavax in Fall 2023 after several mRNAs over time. I didn’t know I needed another Novavax after 8 weeks then. I got the second Novavax in Sep 2024. Should I follow up with a third one now (after 8 weeks)? Thanks!
