In July 2024, the mafia-like regime of #SheikhHasina blinded and maimed thousands of innocent students and ordinary citizens in #Bangladesh. Those victims are still trapped in a living state of death — a lifetime of darkness and agony that only someone who has to suffer every single day can truly understand.

Despite all of that pain, we had thought that kind of calculated cruelty would end with Hasina’s fall – a past we could finally try to heal from.

But we were wrong.

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (#BNP), which is now governing Bangladesh, is shoving perfectly happy and healthy people into the same state of doom and utter darkness that Hasina had. They are quite literally blinding and maiming our youth, all over again. And not only are these perpetrators walking free with zero accountability — the government is making sure they don’t even have to face as little as an arrest.

On July 28, 2026, in Habiganj town, BNP cadres attacked 19-year-old student Alif Chowdhury, who was attending a rally organized by National Citizen Party (#NCP) — the youth-led party formed by the very students who had courageously revolutionised the nation in 2024.

The BNP Men permanently destroyed the vision in Alif’s right eye by striking him with an iron rod. No amount of medical treatment will ever bring that eye back.

A young man with his entire life ahead of him has been condemned to lifelong disability. What exactly did the BNP gain by taking away a promising young man’s ability to see? Despite an hours-long surgery by doctors in Dhaka on Thursday, Alif’s life is now permanently altered. This was a young man who loved reading, studying and trying to create a better life for his struggling family — a father who has been unemployed since losing a leg in an accident years ago, and a mother who struggles with her own health issues.

Today’s youth are finally beginning to understand why so many stayed silent when the BNP used to be trampled under Hasina’s jackboot. What makes BNP think that this brave generation will let them cover up these latest acts of savagery?

The BNP is a cruel, reckless force — they will deny and shrug off the horrors they are committing, without so much as a second thought.

But I will not.

As long as I live, I will keep exposing every single one of these crimes. The BNP can try to suppress their abuses all they want, but what they don’t know is that the truth always prevails.

For days, Indian-origin saffron extremists have rampaged through Sunsari, Siraha and other neighbouring districts in #Nepal’s Terai region, burning #Muslim homes and shops to the ground and desecrating mosques in a blatant anti-Muslim pogrom. A #Hindu religious procession was deliberately shoved in front of a mosque, where the mob danced like lunatics, blasted anti-Muslim #Hindutva hate-pop at full volume, climbed atop mosques in triumph, and waved their saffron flags in naked displays of dominance. Social media videos expose the culprits—rioters chanting “Jai Shri Ram” while torching Muslim shops and prancing with Hindutva flags.

Nepal Police nabbed two ethnic Indian Hindus, Santosh and Madhav, red-handed at the scene. Under interrogation, they revealed that they were trained and shipped in by some Hindutva organisations from #India specifically to spark anti-Muslim riots in Nepal.

Nepalese news portal Himal Khabar said that its investigation uncovered involvement by India’s right-wing Hindu organisation, the RSS, through its front, HSS Nepal, in fuelling the communal bloodshed.

The two rioters killed by the police were Indian-origin Hindus. Nearly all those injured by police were Hindus.

The “music” blaring from the Hindu procession was pure poison—anti-Muslim lyrics straight out of India’s hate playlist. While the speakers screamed filth, the mob hurled disgusting slogans attacking Muslims’ mothers and sisters. This is the same toxic template they have perfected in India for years, now poisoning Nepal.

The dead and wounded were all Hindus of Indian origin. Let that sink in. Nepal’s police force is overwhelmingly Hindu, so no one can scream “bias toward Muslims.” The cops did their job professionally, hammering the rioters to restore order. The casualties prove exactly who the aggressors were.

This was not an organic Nepali friction. It was a deliberate anti-Muslim pogrom instigated by Hindus of Indian origin, acting on orders from Hindutva masterminds in India.

For years India has watched the same filthy script: Ram Navami and other processions weaponised as mobile hate machines.

Impartial Indian media outlets like The Wire, https://t.co/rnKNEnrtq7, and The Quint have repeatedly documented Hindutva mobs invading Muslim neighbourhoods, blasting provocative music, dancing and singing slurs in front of mosques, clambering atop them, and planting saffron flags on them like conquerors. Muslims push back with stones only after relentless provocation. Social media videos routinely expose these Hindutva extremists attacking mosques and Muslims openly, often right in front of the police—an alarming display of violence carried out with apparent impunity.

Over the past decade, several Indian and international media reports have exposed the ugly reality in India: during outbreaks of Hindu-Muslim communal violence, police routinely side with Hindu rioters, shielding perpetrators while arresting and brutalising Muslims in disproportionate numbers. In a Hindu-majority country, minority Muslims will not take the risk of launching unprovoked assaults on aggressive majoritarian mobs. They know the system is rigged against them.

Yet in Nepal, the police acted with actual competence—targeting the real troublemakers. Result? All casualties from the security response were Indian-origin Hindu rioters. That tells you everything.

Nepal has zero history of ethnic Nepali Hindus attacking Muslims in communal riots. The sudden eruption of this targeted violence in the Terai, combined with Nepal Police’s focused crackdown on the Indian-origin Hindu mobs, screams one truth: this is imported poison.

Indian Hindutva organisations have spent years perfecting anti-Muslim violence at home, and now they are expanding their bloody campaign into Nepal, using border-crossing proxies to destabilise a once-peaceful region.
