Working with veteran actor Vhong Navarro is a dream come true for rising Kapamilya star JM Ibarra as they star in the upcoming Cinemalaya 2025 entry “Child No. 82.”

Directed and written by Tim Rone Villanueva, the project also marks the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 alumnus’ first major solo project as he portrays the male lead character of Max, who embarks on a journey to prove that he is the 82nd son of Boy Kana, the Philippines’ biggest action-fantasy movie star, portrayed by Vhong Navarro.

The fantasy film is a historical first in the annual independent film festival.
