Next week, on May 10th, we celebrate something powerful…
Mother’s Day.
A day to embrace, to remember, to honor.
Because if you think about it…
Every human being — without exception — has had, or has, a mother.
But there’s always that one exception that makes you think.
Adam.
The first man.
He had no mother.
So imagine this for a moment…
If Adam were living in our time, what would Mother’s Day look like for him?
No one to hug.
No one to thank.
No one to celebrate.
Maybe he would honor Eve… his wife.
But it wouldn’t be the same.
And that leads to a simple, but powerful question:
What do we have today… that we sometimes take for granted?
Because many people would give anything
for one more conversation…
one more hug…
one more moment.
So maybe Mother’s Day shouldn’t be just one day.
Maybe it should be a mindset.
A week.
A time to prepare your heart…
to show gratitude…
to do something meaningful…
to be present.
Because time doesn’t wait.
And moments like these… don’t come back.
“Honor your father and your mother…” — Exodus 20:12
So don’t wait for the day.
Start now.
Make it a week.
Make it count.
