Masking on planes should have become mandatory during any one of our last epidemics (or pandemic).
EVERY virus movie has a scene where the virus jumps to international passengers on a flight and spreads globally.
If we want to be a global society, we need global precautions.
How can abled people read these stories of how disabled people been abandoned by society and it not break your heart? It doesn't make you cry? It doesn't move you to act and protect those who are vulnerable to fascist violence?
The pandemic never ended. Put your mask back on.
Anyone can become disabled at any time.
Your life can change in an instant, no matter how strong and healthy you think you are.
People will leave you. Funds will dry up. Life will get tougher.
It’s not a moral failing.
