To this day, I’ve never had a positive experience with therapy.

I’ve never been able to connect with the therapist across the room or on the screen, and I’ve never felt understood as a professional or as a man.

Now imagine you’re a first responder, whose job is to pull bodies out of car crashes, or to walk up to a vehicle with a pleasant demeanor but prepared for a confrontation, or to answer the phone on someone’s worst day with their family screaming in the background. The average therapist or coach cannot relate to those expectations and experiences.

That’s why we built Sharp: a coaching platform where men and women in high-risk jobs can connect with coaches who get it. Coaches who’ve been through similar experiences and successfully navigated them, and who now serve as guides, mentors, and peers.
