Those Unorthodox moves come into play with discussing 2027 @Lane_Sharpe2 of @WIHS_BASEBALL23 on the Bump.

I encourage him to keep embracing the "Hideo Nomo" in his Balance Point. Turning his back to the batter while staying balanced can be a deceptive weapon. FB was 74-77, 78; whippy. Takes spin of the CH, w/ HB. If he keeps the ball down, he'll be effective.

As the Velo rises, the overall deception will become more effective

2027 MIF/RHP @Lane_Sharpe2 of @WIHS_BASEBALL23 has some unorthodox movements in his game, yet he's physical and producing for Coach Henderson and the Warriors

At the plate, he stays connected in a way that allows him to pepper the middle and backside of the field. He buries his eyes and finds the barrel. Generates some pop with hips, gets on plane, but narrow stride may cut him off to inside pitches. EVs were mid to high 8s in BP

Ran a 7.33; physical frame 6'1" 175, Needs to get arm strength up in order to stay on the left side; quick transfer w/ short arm action; needs to get more length out of the arm

Great Student, 4.3 GPA, undecided in Degree Path. Plays in the Summers for @nextlevelbbnc and @rickdearmas28

@Lane_Sharpe2 of @WIHS_BASEBALL23 is a good example of the 2027 Prospects we're hoping to see at our 8/16 Prospect Filming at @ForestCityOwls: athletes that are showing college baseball desire & starting to flash above average tools

We're fans of @HendersonCaleb2's WIHS program and excited to build more relationships with the WNC Foothills programs. We're also excited to see Lane on 8/16

Thank you @nextlevelbbnc for another great season, my 6th with the org. The team played well going 14-5-2.

I led the team in appearances on the mound and finished w/ a 1.98 ERA. At the plate I hit .391 w/ .562 OBP. I saw time in the field at 2B, LF & RF.
