While the concept of value is fundamentally intrinsic to our subjective experiences, no referent can truly possess value independent of a valuer. Paradoxically, certain referents emerge as so universally prized across human societies that they practically function as if they hold inherent worth.
Such is Bitcoin’s inevitable path. Substantial rewards accrue to those who deduce, recognize and adopt the former proposition before the masses.
@OwnNothingBFree@dotkrueger@TomCrown Wrong, log charts apply also to power law functions which are not exponential functions. Adoption metrics have followed a power law since inception and still do.
@marcuscarey@RepThomasMassie@marklevinshow And what a piss poor job they are doing of managing it. They can’t even make the interest payments and show no signs of slowing the spending. Would you keep employing a money manager who was increasing your debt exponentially?
We need to stop calling it tax dollars, we don’t even send tax dollars. We send newly minted dollars via debasement of the money supply (devaluing everyone’s wages and savings). Then we use tax dollars to pay a portion of the interest on the debt created in the new mint.
Our wages and savings are devalued instantly, then we pay taxes towards the interest on govt debt on whatever is left over.
@btclawyerguy@DailyStackHQ Also interesting… they contend if it hasn’t moved in 5 years it’s abandoned? Is gold sitting in a vault (under lock and key) considered abandoned after 5 years? Obviously not.
@LorenHodl Dan is literally regurgitating propaganda talking points. Show us the proof that Iran murdered 50k people. A figure that doesn’t stand up to logic let alone evidence.
@LorenHodl Not seeing Gaza as a genocide takes a particularly strong set of blinders. Gaza was flattened. It’s not a left or right view, it’s a human thing.
@Crypto_Mags@BitcoinNewsCom None of that collateral would be even remotely subject to attempted 2023 Prime Trust clawback. Strike moved all custody in-house before loans were offered in 2025.
If legislators always vote with the President, we have a king.
If legislators always vote with the prevailing wind, we have mob rule.
If legislators always vote with the Constitution, we have a Republic.
