Incredibly , the total area of India is pi million km^2!!! Therefore, it’s extremely likely that a polling booth is within walking distance of where you live. On the ground though , this depends on the population density - but on average , one can walk to it

How far was your polling booth from your residence? What’s the probability that any polling booth is within 1 Km from any voter?

Let’s say walking distance is < 1 Km . A circle of pi Km^2 can be drawn with your residence at the centre . There are approx 1 million polling booths . If they are equally spaced , the total area they cover is approx pi million km^2.
