अहम पदों पर नियुक्तियों के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार की कुप्रथायें महाराष्ट्र तक ही सीमित नहीं है। अन्य राज्य भी दोषी हैं।
सिविल सेवा बोर्ड की सिफारिश पर ही नियुक्तियां होनी चाहिए। केंद्र सरकार की भी जिम्मेदारी है कि राज्य सरकारें IAS/IPS/IFS कैडर नियमों का ईमानदारी से पालना करें।
