@SriramMadras So you are defending Udhay that he had no choice but to comment if the crowd keeps chanting something. So if next time, the crowd shouts Paaltayil or Racing, our Hon'ble LOP will share his honest thoughts on those topics or would he exercise restraint?
@annamalai_k@mafoikprajan Nice work Anna, however seems areas mostly covered are in chennai surroundings & west TN districts. We need more focus in east and south TN districts - unlike BJP they usually do like this.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra called him a тАЬgaumutra expert.тАЭ
She seemed very proud.
One cheap phrase.
One parliamentary laugh.
One scientist was casually thrown under the bus.
Perhaps she did not know who Prof. V. Kamakoti was.
So let us help.
Prof. Kamakoti earned his https://t.co/l3aehJY3Bk.
Then his M.S.
Then his Ph.D.
All from IIT Madras.
He became a professor there.
Then, in January 2022, he became its Director.
Now let us inspect this тАЬgaumutra expert.тАЭ
Under his leadership, IIT Madras filed:
378 patents in 2023-24.
419 patents in 2024-25.
431 patents in 2025-26.
Total?
1,228 patents.
Including 284 international filings.
More than one patent every day.
Apparently, innovation now needs political permission too.
Patents granted?
178 in 2022.
325 in 2023.
356 in 2024.
Total: 859.
Almost 100% growth.
Technology-transfer transactions?
84.
Because patents should not only sleep inside government files.
They should enter factories.
Markets.
Hospitals.
Defence systems.
And national infrastructure.
Now the startups.
104 startups incubated in 2024-25.
112 more in 2025-26.
216 startups in two years.
His vision was called тАЬStartup Shatam.тАЭ
The IIT Madras ecosystem now has more than 500 startups.
Its portfolio is valued above тВ╣74,000 crore.
It has attracted nearly тВ╣12,000 crore in investment.
It has created over 11,000 direct jobs.
Priyanka Gandhi reads political speeches written some Scribbler.
Kamakoti manages innovation ecosystems.
Small difference.
IIT Madras also raised nearly тВ╣1,728 crore through alumni.
CSR and corporate fundraising across five years.
Sponsored research funding rose from тВ╣504 crore to тВ╣956 crore.
Almost 89% growth.
The institute also opened its first International campus.
It created an indigenous high-performance RISC-V chip.
A contribution to IndiaтАЩs semiconductor self-reliance.
Its startups work in:
Semiconductors.
Defence.
Aerospace.
Robotics.
Quantum technology.
Artificial intelligence.
Biotechnology.
Medical technology.
Advanced manufacturing.
Batteries.
Climate technology.
5G.
6G.
Cyber systems.
Prof. Kamakoti also led IndiaтАЩs SHAKTI processor programme.
He chaired the national AI Task Force.
He served on the National Security Advisory Board.
And in 2026, India honoured him with the Padma Shri.
Not for delivering political speeches.
For Science and Engineering.
Criticise his ideas.
Question his claims.
Challenge his science.
That is democracy.
But reducing a national scientist to one mocking label?
A perfect example of being a privileged brat.
History remembers the people who built the nation.
It rarely remembers those who mocked the builders.
Kanimozhi sonтАЩs name is Aditya - Sanskrit Udhayanidhi daughter name is Tanmaya - Sanskrit , Karunanidhi , udhayanidhi are all Sanskrit names. So sit down please.
Udhaya sooriyan - your party symbol name is Sanskrit
Arivalayam - your party head office name is Sanskrit.
When irresistible weed meets immovable hallucination.
According to Arundhati Roy, the 1961 liberation of Goa by India was in reality an Upper-caste Hindu State waging a war against Christians.
AI companies are now buying old physical books in bulk.
Why?
Because the internet is becoming too polluted with AI-generated content. Models trained on AI-written text start degrading. Researchers call it model collapse. The output gets worse, narrower, more generic with each generation.
Old books don't have that problem. They're human-written, professionally edited, structured, and predate AI slop entirely.
A company called ISBNdb is publicly pitching bulk book acquisition to AI labs specifically for this purpose. Court records show Anthropic already did it bought books in bulk, removed bindings, scanned pages, and used the digitized copies for AI development.
Now here's the part that should make you think.
Buying a physical book gives you possession. It doesn't automatically give you the right to scan it and train a commercial AI model on it. Those are different things.
Authors don't get paid. They don't get asked. Most don't even know it's happening.
And some of these are scarce, out-of-print copies. Once you rip the binding off for scanning, the physical book is gone.
The irony is wild. AI was supposed to make knowledge more accessible. Instead, private companies are quietly building massive datasets from books that may never be publicly available again.
The real story here isn't "AI is running out of data."
It's that as the internet fills up with AI-generated noise, the most valuable thing in tech is becoming the one thing AI can't produce something a human actually sat down and wrote.
China just built a magnet that cages plasma hotter than the core of the sun. 582 tons. Sitting inside their fusion "artificial sun" project in Hefei.
3x the energy storage of anything built for ITER. 1.3x the volume. 100% domestically produced. Designed to run for 60 years.
Everyone is watching the AI race. The chip race. The model race. China is playing a completely different game. One that takes decades and most people aren't paying attention to.
Whoever cracks fusion doesn't just win energy. They win compute, manufacturing, and everything that runs on power. That's the real race.
@arvinth_e@BJP4India@BJP4TamilNadu what kind of politics is this? Already you are zero in TN and now if you keep on encouraging such nonsense, you will be negative.
Modi-ji appoints Nandan Nilekani, who contested the 2014 elections as a Congress Party candidate, because the government respects his experience leading Infosys and Aadhaar and so many other projects.
Priyanka-ji attacks IIT Madras Director Prof Kamakoti, under whose leadership IIT Madras has emerged as the top tech institution in India and has spawned a vibrant startup ecosystem.
One of them is a classy leader.
This is an atrocious and criminal misuse of very valuable Hindu endowment property by the Officials of @tnhrcedept who are controlling Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple, Tiruvannamalai by FRAUD- for the last 75 years. Let them raise a memorial for this Muthulakhsmi at a government place or where she died. Not in Temple land.
