Branch Staff Still Sitting at 9 PM. Who Is Lying?
@pnbindia MD & CEO #Ashok_Chandra once again said bank staff should not be called on holidays and that such practices are often done to satisfy the ego of senior officials.
He also mentioned that for years he himself has not worked on Sundays and advised bankers to leave office by 6:30 PM for proper work-life balance.
Good statement.
But then why are many bankers still working late nights, Sundays, and even continuously for 10–15 days without rest?
If the MD’s instructions are serious, then Circle Heads and Zonal Heads must be held accountable whenever branch staff are forced to stay late or work on holidays.
Either the top leadership cannot control its own management chain…
or these speeches are only for town halls and publicity while branch staff continue to suffer.
Bankers don’t need motivational speeches anymore.
They need real work-life balance, backed by action.

🚨 What Banking Experts Say About New PLI Scheme
1. Experts say PLI is a good idea, but it should be given to all employees. It should reward those who actually bring business to banks.
2. There are concerns about why PLI is being given only to Scale IV and above officers. Experts believe there may be hidden reasons behind this decision.
3. Some experts feel the government wants to privatize PSU banks but is facing challenges. As a result, there may be efforts to bring in professionals from the private sector for senior positions like Regional Head or Circle Head.
4. According to this view, PLI could be used as a way to offer higher salaries to such private sector candidates.
5. Experts also warn that this approach may gradually lead to internal privatization of public sector banks.
6. They further caution that work pressure on junior staff may increase. There could be more cases of harassment and toxic work culture. Unions may find it difficult to protect employees, as senior officials may push harder to achieve targets for PLI, which could also increase the risk of irregularities/frauds.

Yes, you read that right. Top management has already secured their incentives while employees are still being fed delays, discussions and false assurances.
And now we are told that for others, it is still “under discussion” and will be credited by March. This is the same old tactic of buying time and calming anger.
What does this clearly show:
→ Management ensures its own benefits first

Every single notice mentions my posts on X. So let the BANKERS see clearly what my crime was:
- I questioned humiliation of bankers in the name of targets
- I opposed unethical insurance pressure
- I spoke against abusive and fear based management style
- I raised concern about mental harassment of staff
- I demanded dignity for bankers
And the response?
Not dialogue. Not correction. Not transparency But legal intimidation
Is this leadership or suppression?
If a banker cannot speak about workplace pressure without receiving legal threats what kind of environment are we creating?
I ask openly, Are bankers employees or are they expected to be silent machines?
