ಜನರ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಬೇಕಾದ ಶಾಸಕನಿಗೆ ಜನರ ಜತೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವಮರ್ಯಾದೆಯಂತೆ.

ಇವರು ಯಾವ ಸೀಮೆ ವಿಐಪಿ ? ಪುಕ್ಕಟೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೇಳುವಷ್ಟು ಕೀಳು ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯವರು ವಿಐಪಿ ಆಗಲಾರರು.

ಇಂದು ವಿಧಾನ ಸಭೆಯ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, "ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಶಾಸಕರು, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ತಲಾ ಐದು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕು" ಎಂದು ಕೆಲವು ಶಾಸಕರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರೂ ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ದನಿಗೂಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ಏಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ನೀಡಬೇಕು? ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ�� ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಳಕಳಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಂತೆ ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ನೋಡಲು ಹೋಗಲಿ. ತಮಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸ��ು ಶಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವಾ? ಇವರಿಗೆ ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಖರೀದಿಸುವಷ್ಟು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ, ಯೋಗ್ಯತೆ ಇಲ್ಲವಾ?

ಶಾಸಕರೂ ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ನೋಡದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಗೆ ಏನೂ ಹಾನಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನು ಮ್ಯಾಚ್ ನೋಡಲೇಬೇಕು ಎಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಹಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಲಿ.

The Mandir and well was neglected for decades. Today, the restored well stands as a testament to their unity and dedication to preserving their cultural heritage

We need more such efforts, I hope this work is spread so it can inspire more people to restore our temples to past glory.
