It’s not uncommon to hear white colleagues quickly label Black patients as “angry, aggressive and difficult.” I hear it too often. Imagine how some treat us who are their colleagues, not to mention patients who are sick and could barely advocate for themselves. We have so much work to do to protect Black patients from racist nurses. Thank you for sharing this.

1. No child left behind left behind a lot of people. They cannot read or comprehend what you mean.
2. “Inflation” hinders most people from being able to save let alone take you out on a date.
3. Cov*d affected so many people and they have not processed their losses.
4. Many people are addicted to something but people around them are unaware.
5. Emotional wellness wasn’t taught in many schools so most people do not know how to discuss their thoughts and feelings.
6. A lot of adults do not take care of their hygiene and don’t realize we can tell (this is not about people who are depressed).
7. We tend to think bc we know something other people should know it. Meanwhile they had a totally different upbringing.
8. People are worried about what their friends would think of the person their dating over how they really feel.
9. A lot of people aren’t taking care of their kids and potential partners don’t play that.
10. Many people are deciding not to have children and that doesn’t work for everybody.
11. People are realizing that they can do bad all by themselves and don’t need the extra drama.
12. Dating is expensive.
13. Dating apps give the illusion that you have so many options.
14. A lot of people are unmasking their neurodivergence and figuring things out in this new world (good for you!)
15. People don’t know the difference between assertive, passive, passive aggressive, and aggressive communication.
