As the people of Bangladesh and Muslims around the world mark the Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt greetings – Eid Mubarak to all.

For seventeen years, the oppressed people of Bangladesh prayed for the day they could celebrate Eid in a free and democratic nation - one where tyranny no longer silenced their voices. In 2024, those prayers were answered. Through a historic mass uprising, at the cost of more than two thousand lives, Bangladesh broke free from the chains of dictatorship. This Eid, for the first time in nearly two decades, we celebrate this blessed day after the holy month of Ramadan in a country liberated from autocratic rule. With profound gratitude to the Almighty Allah, I offer prayers for the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives for this freedom and for those who continue to bear the wounds of that struggle.

On this occasion of universal unity, I call upon all Bangladeshis, including leaders and activists of the @bdbnp78, to share the joy of our first Eid in a tyranny-free nation with the families of those who lost loved ones and those who were grievously injured.

To those who have the time and means, I urge you to take care of those in your community, to extend a hand of friendship to your fellow country men and women. Go and share a meal with children in orphanages—young souls who, in the absence of family, must celebrate Eid within their institutional homes. Grant your support to the less fortunate, ensuring that economic hardship does not rob them of this moment of joy.

I appeal to transport owners and workers to refrain from imposing excessive fares, allowing homebound travellers to reunite with their families for Eid, without undue burden.

Even as we celebrate, forces of the past remain intent on destabilising our nation. I urge all citizens to remain vigilant and united, ensuring that those who seek to disrupt this hard-won peace cannot exploit the Eid holidays for their agenda. If we fail to stand together, we risk allowing these forces to undermine our historic victory.

Finally, I call upon our patriotic armed forces and law enforcement agencies to maintain heightened vigilance during Eid, preventing those who seek chaos from inflicting harm on public life and property.

May this first Eid in a free Bangladesh be one of peace, unity, and shared joy for all. I pray to Allah for this blessing.

Only 9 Hindus have died in #Bangladesh so far, out of which only 2 died in religious conflicts, the remaining 7 deaths were political, personal enmity and drug-related.

Mamata's #Hindutva consciousness stands out in that she has started crying to Modi for the deployment of UN peacekeepers in Bangladesh. #Modi himself is the butcher of #Gujarat, and currently his goons in #Manipur have proven to have destroyed 400 #Christian #churches.
1700 houses have been completely destroyed by the grocery store, and so far about 50,000 people have left their homes and taken shelter elsewhere. Mamata's prayer to that grocery store. 😂

In Mamata's country, women were paraded naked in public a few days ago, and again in her state Kolkata, the incident of rape and murder of women in R. G. Kar Medical College is completely fresh.

That Mamata questions the human rights and minority rights of Bangladesh which is absolutely ridiculous.

The style of her claim is like Sunny Leone claiming that she is a virgin and the world should accept that. 🤣

This woman has no minimum shame.

the way Indian women are oppressed and human rights violations happen around Mamatis state that is inside. In comparison them Bangladesh has less than 1% of incidents like this. Such whining by India and its leaders is completely petty and purposeful.

Bangladesh will move at its own pace, we will solve our internal problems.

মমতার দেশে নারীদের বিবস্ত্র করে পাব্লিলি হাটানো হয়েছে কদিন আগে, আবার তার রাজ্য কলকাতায় R. G. Kar Medical College কি নিসংস ভাবে নারী ধর্ষণ এবং হত্যার ঘটনা ঘটেছে তাতো একেবারে তরতাজা।

সেই মমতা বাংলাদেশের হিউম্যান রাইটস এবং মাইনোরিটি রাইটস নিয়ে প্রশ্ন তোলে যা অত্তন্ত্য হাস্যকর।

তার দাবির ধরন এমন যেন সানি লিয়ন দাবি করছে সে ভার্জিন এবং পৃথিবীকে সেটা মেনে নিতে হবে। 🤣

মিনিমাম লজ্জা বলতে কিছু নেই এই মহিলার নেই।

ভারতে যে পরিমান হিউম্যান রাইটস ভায়োলেশন হয়ে, এবং যেভাবে প্রকাশ্যে মাইনোরিটি এবং নারীদের অত্যাচার করা হয় তার ১% ও বাংলাদেশে হওয়ার কোন রেকর্ড নেই। সেই ভারত এবং তার নেতাদের এমন কান্না কাটি নিতান্তই ছোটলোকি এবং উদ্দেশ্যপ্রনোদিত।

বাংলাদেশ তার গতিতে চলবে, আমাদের অভ্যন্তরীণ সমস্যা আমরা মেটাব।
