Though he didn’t work on it directly, without him we wouldn’t have gotten such an amazing scene, such an awesome form, such wonderful characters, and such a mystical adventure. I wouldn’t be as passionate about art without him. R.I.P. Toriyama, G.O.A.T., Legend, and more!
@Dumbass799@SHforlife56@the_snickman Emphasizing that Clark’s actions that have brought the world to love him were all because he chose to do those things, and if Lex wasn’t so driven by hatred, the world could love him the same.
@Dumbass799@SHforlife56@the_snickman When it’s regarding how he, an alien, walks among us, then I think it’s justified. The point is to show that despite being from another planet, he shares the same “human” qualities as everyone else. He then tells Lex, “I hope, one day, you realize it’s yours too!” 1/2
@Marduk333@RichardOcelot@Fame_0007 They wouldn’t have arrested Superman if not for Lex. Everything the government did in the movie was playing right into Lex’s hands until the end. He manipulated them into giving him Superman, and would’ve killed him if they allowed it. He pulled a few strings.
They already tried this in the '70s, and it was repealed right after the first winter bc kids got killed on their commute to school bc it'll end up being fucking dark until like 10 in the morning
No thank you
@Alexandrite654@OmbKingbob@cornbread1217@homeofdcu Eh, I think it could still work. Just have everything start off grounded then gradually get more fantastical. Benefits of covering the early parts of his career is you can exclude the crazier guys without needing an explanation. Cause I don’t see Y2 Batman fighting Killer Croc.
@Alexandrite654@OmbKingbob@cornbread1217@homeofdcu It was actually because The Batman (2004) was also running at the time. So it’s pretty accurate to what’s happening rn as well.
I think they should just make him DCU Batman and save everyone a lot of trouble.
@WarriYah7@RichardOcelot Did James Gunn? You’re throwing out a point to defend a guy who would actually do the thing you’re complaining about.
But I guess it’s okay, because it’s supposed to be dark.
Your argument makes as much sense as your sentences. None.
@Marduk333@Russellhicks27@Fame_0007 There’s literally nothing wrong with his reason for turning himself in. Perhaps you should leave this convo to a better hater
@squire_katlego@Fame_0007 “Capture” which David’s Superman wasn’t.
Being beaten by someone controlled by Lex. That someone being a clone of himself with over 25k moves to counter anything Superman throws at them.
“Weak”, but the only person he lost to was himself.
@Marduk333@RichardOcelot@Fame_0007 How do you think they found out about the message in the first place? Whose private prison were they taking him to? He’s obviously pulling the strings because he needs a legal reason to kill Superman, so he found a reason.
