ICYMI: The 31-day out of province restriction on MSI eligibility for international students has been removed.
We are pleased to see this change - a @StudentsNS advocacy priority for a near-decade - implemented, as a key step towards reducing the barriers facing int’l students.
The Dept of Health & Wellness is updating its regulations for coverage of MSI Insured Services for people w/ a study or work permit. They can now be absent from NS for more than 31 consecutive days. This includes their spouse and dependents. The change goes into effect today. 1/2
