Both Bergvall & Gray finally going to count as home grown & club trained and now talk of club moving up on after putting in the hard graft.
So in 27/28 season when we’ll be back in Europe, we’ll be back to this leaving 3 players out the squad nonsense.
Lucas Bergvall’s ceiling is so incredibly high and the mismanagement of him by Thomas Frank completely tarnished people’s memories of how good he was in his debut campaign.
In my opinion, loaning to another PL club would be the correct decision. Where do you stand? 👇🇸🇪
Can’t believe some Tottenham fans think it’s a good idea to let Bergvall go, lol.
Can’t wait to return some of the tweets in 2 years time.
Monumental, monumental blunder. Happens when you overload midfield with 0 pathway for young players.
@charlieparrish its ridiculous that its even come to this. he's got such a high ceiling. buying CG made no sense. would much rather bergval gets a run in a functioning team in his preferred position, but looks like we'll never get to see it. i think RDZ spoke highly of him too when he arrived
Spurs are about to fuck up yet another outstanding young talent, who with a bit of coaching and time, can become a world class midfielder valued at over £120m.
Selling a player who swept all POTS awards in his first season at the age of 18.
We were all calling it such a huge miss when I said he was out for the season for the Europa League run.
Had a 3 month injury last season and barely played and now we are all fine to let him go?
@georgebann its a mighty shame..think his ceiling is extremely high and we forget he's barely turned 20. totally misprofiled by Frank and here we are. for all his faults, ange would have developed Berg into a top top midfielder
Bergvall won POTS last year.
He was getting UCL MOTMs, Premier League POTWs at the start of the season.
He then gets moved to do Left Wing and 10 shifts, whilst his manager says he sees him and Odobert competing for the same role.
He gets injured for 3 months, comes back into the worst situation impossible, and people want to loan him because he’s not playing like prime Modric.
You cannot be serious.
Same will happen again with someone like Scott. And the next youngster. Repeat.
Bukayo Saka manhandled the ball in his penalty area but a penalty wasn’t given because he wears an Arsenal shirt.
The referee and VAR are helping Arsenal https://t.co/fyJ9pEcIJp
Curating spin-friendly decks in bilateral ODIs at home will help you win series against non-Asian teams, but there is no benefit in the long run.
If this was Test cricket I would still understand, but in preparation for a World Cup in South Africa it makes zero sense.
“We close one page and open another.”
Roberto De Zerbi sat down after our final game of the season to reflect upon his time so far and look ahead to the future 💬
Tudor taking a lot of the blame whilst he only managed us for 7 games and was absolutely appalled at the fitness and condition levels of the players and had to arrange a mini pre season mid season!
I think Roberto would say he was aided by that fitness work put in by Igor.
