From 2020 to 2023, Darwin Initiative support enabled 1,300 fishermen on Anjouan to benefit from management measures for 230 ha of reefs. 4 temporary fishing closures & 1 permanent reserve were put in place by 8 associations. And 75% of fishermen saw a positive impact!
