@MoPOPSeattle Like all Bradbury I’ve read, it was a lovely and interesting read. He is ultimately a product of his time as we all are, and hearing the group’s thoughts about how the war informed the writing was really great. Definitely need a reread #MoPOPBookClub

As a big lover of science fiction, I've come to unfortunately expect these weak female characters - but subtle decisions like ripping out the flowers and choosing to not interact with her husband as much - that's some power move stuff for the 50's #mopopbookclub

You have some of the planets of our solar system mentioned, no mention of alien life, and just some stuff about planet dust and minerals. Gave it kind of an eerie unknown vibe - probably what the fam felt #mopopbookclub

@MoPOPSeattle A2: I think he's showing that it's a difficult one to make. You can love travel and you can love having a place to come back to. But when the time between travel and home are so distant, that home is affected, what choice do you make? Makes me think of The Hurt Locker!
