@HowieRose @Mets I grew up near St. Louis and was actually a Cardinals fan....until June 15, 1983. Keith Hernandez was my idol and I followed him to the Mets and have bled blue and orange since. My daughter, Shea, is a Cards fan (sigh), but I think that's just to irritate me! #LGM,

@kytv Agree or not with what she did, if Missouri paid their educators a decent wage they wouldn't struggle and have to look elsewhere to supplement their income. I am from that small town and graduated from that high school (many moons ago). This is partly why I left the area.

@Jason_Priestley At the beginning of 2022, we had 4 dogs and 3 cats in our home. Between August of 2022 and January of 2023, we lost 3 of our dogs. The fact that we had them 17, 18, and 15 years doesn't seem to help with the grief of losing them. My sincerest condolences to you!

@kylegriffin1 Been there! I actually drove from Texas back home to Missouri with a burst appendix. I thought it was the flu! Stopped to pick up my daughter from her dad's and ended up going to the hospital. Thank God I did. Doctor said I would have died in my sleep that night.
