When a man’s looked death in the eye, he doesn’t come back same. The fluff of the world, the need to impress, the tolerance for lies - it all become nonexistent.
He already knows how fragile and sacred life is. He worships truth because he’s lived where deception equals death.
Books aren’t just stories to me, they’re time capsules. They activate my awareness of life’s finiteness, how nothing lasts, how people leave, how we grow and never return to who we were on page 1.
There’s only so long you can hide behind comfortable lies and excuses to avoid taking responsibility for your own life.
No one’s coming to save you. You’ve only got you. And the sooner you realize that, the better.
So own your life. Own yourself. That’s how you survive.
At times, you’re choosing not to dwell on pain but the pain won’t let you go.
This is what happens when you keep choosing to survive in a season that won’t let you rest. Body keeps showing up. Mind keeps pushing. But soul? It’s tired. And it’s trying to signal: “I need space.”
I don’t think your intentions have to be perfect to take the first step (or any step) toward Allah. Just go to Him, for whatever reasons. Sincerity can grow later, ofc with His mercy.
They romanticize war because they’ve never felt its brutality. They’re actually chasing a thrill.
Avoiding war should always be the priority but if dragged into one, it must be faced with courage.
It's unfortunate and heartbreaking to see people glorifying war. War is nothing but destruction… its horrors cripple generations. Be reasonable and responsible when sharing information and expressing your thoughts.
They’re impossible to have a normal, respectful conversation. No wonder we’re not same.
