REI 16 was 1.21 to 1.21.1, then bumped major on 1.21.2, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.6 and 1.21.9 to reach REI 21

this was such a fun release cycle, I don't suggest chasing the new versions if possible :I

however rei does have considerable usage for the vanilla+ people and skyblock

For new versions of Minecraft, the way forward for REI is to hold them on the discord server for maybe a week or so (done since 1.21.6)

Also since major versions bumps have reached v21, we are going to follow NeoForge way of versioning, so this release is going to be 21.9.X
