I typically watch a decent amount of sports commentary and coverage during the football season. It is really striking the degree to which nearly all of these shows have become nothing but infomercials for sports betting. No one in the sports media space is even pretending to grapple with the ethics of shilling for sports betting companies every day all day. I guess it’s not surprising but you might think that there would be at least a little bit of internal debate about whether they should be relentlessly hawking a product that is guaranteed to lose collectively millions of dollars for their audience, and which obviously jeopardizes their own ability to be remotely objective, and which is having such a clearly deleterious effect on the sports they’re paid to cover. But apparently not. They all just decided to become full time salesmen for Fan Duel with no further deliberation on the matter. Okay then.

“Protecting gamblers” should not be anyone’s concern or priority in any context at all. It especially should not be the concern of any sports league, team, or individual athlete. Sports betting is a scourge. Absolute unequivocal net negative right down the line. I supported legalizing it and I’ve never been more wrong about anything.

Vivek Ramaswamy constantly tries to convince Ohioans that a data center boom would be “great” for our state. But he really means it’s great for him.

Despite my calls for him to divest his individual stocks, as I did myself over 6 months ago, he has continued to cash in on millions of dollars of investments that he holds at every single level of the AI data center industry.

It is clear he will say anything to line his own pockets and help himself while selling out the rest of us. Ohio deserves better.

This midterm is not about drag queens.

The issues are:

The Iran War
Gas prices
Grocery prices
Housing prices
Data Centers
Flock cameras

Republicans are on the WRONG SIDE of EVERY ONE of these issues.

Tariffs were initially pitched to reduce or eliminate income taxes, specifically for people making under $200k a year.

Now, even Fox News is saying tariffs hurt the economy. And by the way, we still have an income tax.

Reduce spending. Reduce taxes.
