Pahalgam Terror Attack Update

The NIA has filed a supplementary chargesheet naming LeT chief Hafiz Saeed for his alleged role in orchestrating the April 22, 2025 Pahalgam terror attack. He has been charged under the BNS and UAPA, including for waging war against India and conspiring from across the border.

The chargesheet details Pakistan-based planning, Saeed's alleged involvement, and evidence gathered during the investigation. The attack claimed the lives of 25 tourists and one local civilian in a religion-based targeted massacre.

Justice must prevail, and every conspirator, planner, and perpetrator must be held accountable.

It's unfortunate that some people still want to push Kashmir's children towards conflict instead of a future built on education and opportunity. When books glorify violence, romanticize separatism, or portray those responsible for decades of bloodshed as heroes, they risk influencing young minds in harmful ways.

Ironically, many of those promoting such narratives ensure their own children study abroad or build successful careers, while ordinary Kashmiri youth are left to bear the consequences of radicalization and violence. Kashmir's children deserve education that inspires peace, critical thinking, and progress, not division and extremism.

Shopian Update:

Search operations have resumed in the Chanapora area of Shopian following an encounter between terrorists and security forces that began on Saturday evening.

According to reports, two terrorists are believed to be trapped inside a residential house. A joint operation is underway involving the Army's 44 RR, 20 RR, 55 RR and 34 RR, along with the CRPF's 14 and 178 Battalions.
