All IT employees are struggling the heat of Artificial Intelligence due to which job cuts happening but Hinjwadi IT staff has one more struggle of commuting to office.

Demanding immediate administrative intervention over chronic traffic snarls and hazardous road conditions, hundreds of IT professionals, resident welfare associations, and local citizens from Hinjawadi, Maan, and Marunji organized the peaceful ‘Smart IT City Sankalp Morcha’. Marching with placards stating ‘We Want Safe Roads, Not Promises’ and ‘So Sad We Have to Fight for the Basics’, the demonstrators highlighted the daily ordeal faced by lakhs of commuters traveling to Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park. The key demands raised include a complete peak-hour ban on heavy vehicles like dumpers and RMC mixers, urgent road widening, permanent repairs of crater-like potholes, deployment of adequate traffic police personnel, and accelerated completion of pending civic and metro infrastructure to prevent fatal road accidents.
