I intend to challenge the current enrollment process for becoming an Advocate of the Supreme Court.

The current process is discriminatory, limits access, makes SC litigation more expensive for ordinary citizens and is a relic of the past. It only serves the interests of those who wish SC litigation work to remain with a smaller group (of generally older lawyers) and for having a limited electoral college for Supreme Court Bar elections.

Like in many countries, once enrolled as High Court lawyers, there should be no restriction on rights of audience before superior courts. Many younger lawyers can (and will) prove to be much better (and better prepared) and less expensive SC litigators. The recent live SC proceedings show the need for this.
