Subject: Formal Complaint – Unacceptable Delivery Experience

Dear @YodelSupportUK

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with your carrier service regarding my recent order, which was meant to be delivered via next-day delivery for a birthday present.

I closely followed the tracking app and waited at my location, as my address can be difficult to find. I then received a call from what I presume to be your driver, but as I answered, the caller hung up. When I called back, it went straight to voicemail. I even sent my location via message to assist the driver, yet shortly after, the tracking app stated that the driver "could not find my address" and advised me to contact you.

After being unable to reach anyone via the Yodel chat, I rescheduled the delivery for Monday, March 11th, and took a day off work to receive it. However, the package still has not arrived, and I am receiving unhelpful responses through chat, simply being told to "wait." This is entirely unacceptable.

Very has since refunded my next-day delivery fee, but I have now been informed that my parcel is stuck at the depot until Friday, March 14th, due to a lack of drivers. Again, this is completely unacceptable. Had I known this sooner, I would have cancelled the order and purchased it directly from Curry’s!

As a delivery company, this level of service is appalling. I will be avoiding Yodel in the future, as well as any retailers that use your service.

@Blusterbus70006 @MortgageMikeN2 @YorkshireMoney You’d be forgiven if you didn’t 😂

[Michelle Leyland Mortgages @shell_lou]

So…. We @YorkshireMoney have some news!

Exciting times ahead 🤩

Danny and Michelle, formerly associated with MAB, are now eager to focus on growth following substantial team changes over the past year.

Danny Clayton Business Principal shares his thoughts:

“We set up South Yorkshire Money, with a huge focus on client outcomes & with the
intentions of growing the business based on this mantra, with happy brokers &
happy clients being at the forefront of all we do. Being a DA firm was empowering
and enabled us to grow quite quickly. We have learned valuable lessons from this
(good & bad) and now feel that a strategic partnership with MAB is the way forward
to help us achieve our ambitious development plans. I am really looking forward to
having MAB in our corner, giving us the support we need to flourish”.

Michelle Leyland, Director, adds: "Being directly authorised may represent the 'dream
of freedom' for some, but after re-evaluating our priorities, we realised the need to return to a network environment to achieve our original vision for SYM. Naturally, we couldn't join just any network; it had to be MAB. It feels like coming home, and I am excited to see where we stand as a team this time next year with your support”.
