Subject: Formal Complaint – Unacceptable Delivery Experience
Dear @YodelSupportUK
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with your carrier service regarding my recent order, which was meant to be delivered via next-day delivery for a birthday present.
I closely followed the tracking app and waited at my location, as my address can be difficult to find. I then received a call from what I presume to be your driver, but as I answered, the caller hung up. When I called back, it went straight to voicemail. I even sent my location via message to assist the driver, yet shortly after, the tracking app stated that the driver "could not find my address" and advised me to contact you.
After being unable to reach anyone via the Yodel chat, I rescheduled the delivery for Monday, March 11th, and took a day off work to receive it. However, the package still has not arrived, and I am receiving unhelpful responses through chat, simply being told to "wait." This is entirely unacceptable.
Very has since refunded my next-day delivery fee, but I have now been informed that my parcel is stuck at the depot until Friday, March 14th, due to a lack of drivers. Again, this is completely unacceptable. Had I known this sooner, I would have cancelled the order and purchased it directly from Curry’s!
As a delivery company, this level of service is appalling. I will be avoiding Yodel in the future, as well as any retailers that use your service.
Argued about putting some shelves up that I bought over a year ago …
He’s home from work .. clearly seen the DRILL and bits on the kitchen side and this far has not come to check said shelves …
