The Marvin Harrison Jr. trade won't free up many targets for Michael Wilson, since Marv wasn't getting many looks, but I do think it will give Wilson a slight bump in his usage at X-receiver. This is good news for Wilson because he can play Z, but his skill set is especially well suited to X on valuable routes like the slant and deeper stop routes.
He is also a fantastic receiver in contested-catch situations, which matters a lot in that spot.
Almost all of Wilson's #ReceptionPerception comps are top X-receivers at various points in their careers, including an elite match to 2024 Tee Higgins.
