Today I learned that pockets in dresses were phased out so women could prove they were not witches and carrying ill intentions and spells. This is why women love pockets in skirts and dresses now. We carry our spells and curses without purses and you won't see us coming.
I’ve read 89 books so far this year, and 451 since 2020. I take photos of the front covers when I finish them and add them to a photo album on my phone to keep a log.

Going back to teaching Y7 after years of only KS4 and KS5 is humbling. Modelling used to mean step by step essays, now it's how to draw a table with evenly spaced columns and what to do when you get to the bottom of a page in your exercise book.
