“Be appalled, O heavens, at this; be shocked, be utterly desolate, declares the LORD, for my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water.” - Jer. 2:12–13 (ESV)
“Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him....a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice.” - Isaiah 42:1–3 (ESV)
“O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.” - Psalm 130:7–8 (ESV)

"The pastor is called to make prayer a focus in his personal life and public ministry. This message will encourage pastors to recommit themselves to a life of sincere prayer, both at home and in the life and worship of the church."

“We love talking about the planting. We love the watering even more, because watering at least looks like progress. Nobody much wants to talk about the long stretch between watering and harvest, when it feels like nothing is happening at all.”

@CADDRAFTER83 Currently, you can deactivate any user at any time. The deactivation does not allow the user to log in, but deactivated users do not count toward users for billing purposes. Those users can then be reactivated later, if desired. Let me know if you have any other questions.

@CADDRAFTER83 You're asking specifically about the districts function? There are public lists (managed by admin) and private lists (created by anyone), but currently districts allow one elder and one deacon to be assigned. Pastors are included in the list of elders to choose from.
@CADDRAFTER83 I sincerely appreciate the feedback—every fix makes this better and better!
Let me know if I can do anything to help you get further set up.
@CADDRAFTER83 Thank you so much for this feedback! You surface an issue that I thought had been addressed in the past. This is fixed now—if you check the user settings area, you will now see a FULL ADMIN ACCESS checkbox, so that admin roles have now been separated from church office roles.
@CADDRAFTER83 Yes! Admin is a system permission, not a ministry role. The admin controls who can manage the account, so a Deacon (or Elder, or anyone) can also be an admin. Just assign admin access to that person and they keep their role too. You can experiment with this in the demo account.
Are you using Planning Center People? With easy ChMS integration, your whole Shepherding Tools account can be set up in less than five minutes.
