Effective debrief after training or competition should answer three questions 1. What can the athletes do better? 2. How can the programme be better? 3. How can I be better as coach? It’s in getting the answers right that performance will rise to a new level
Not okay!! A junior high teacher told 12 year old girls to stop eating red meat because it causes cancer. This is one of the ways disordered eating and eating disorders can start.

Sugar is sugar.
Raw, refined, processed, organic: It’s all the same to your body.
Don’t @ me with ‘raw sugar has micronutrients!’ because nobody eats sugar for nutrients.
Also: the glycemic index of sugar isn’t super relevant if you’re not eating vast quantities of it by itself

It literally took a dietitian to teach me that it's okay for a grown woman to eat two slices of pizza. We worked on this for three sessions. I was in my thirties before I ate 2 slices of pizza. Dietitians are an undervalued, critical provider in eating disorder recovery.
Important messaging to remember with your athletes
1. Acknowledge health comes first
2. Develop a healthy mindset
3. Eat a well-balanced diet
4. Serve as a role model https://t.co/MOxvxE8vDi
