They married by phone from separate prison cells. They executed a groom the morning after his wedding.
Alireza Sepahi and Mahshad Kashani were engaged before they were arrested during Iran’s January uprising. Mahshad, just 22, was sentenced to five years in prison. Alireza was sentenced to death.
The day before his execution, they were married over the phone. Their fathers listened as the vows were read.
No embrace.
No kiss.
No holding hands.
Just two voices saying “I do” through a prison telephone, while the Islamic Republic was preparing the gallows.
This was not the first time they tried to kill him. In July, Alireza was taken to be publicly hanged. Minutes before reaching the gallows, under enormous psychological pressure, he suffered a heart attack. They rushed him to hospital.
Then they sent him back to prison.
Today, they came back for him.
This morning, the Islamic Republic hanged Alireza Sepahi.
He was 25 years old.
For one day, he had a wife.
He never got to hold her as his wife. He never got to kiss her goodbye.
Think about the cruelty of a regime that is so terrified of young people that it cannot even tolerate their love.
💔
Heartbreaking. Families of protesters killed in Iran's January crackdown are publicly exposing Pezeshkian's lies at the UN.
One father says the regime pressured him to call his own son a "martyr" of the Islamic Republic. He refused. He was thrown in prison for it.
Hi is under massive pressure but his message to Pezeshkian: "Your only achievement at the UN was to label our children terrorists and rioters. If my son was a terrorist, why do you keep begging me to call him a martyr?"
The regime murders Iran's children, then demands their parents lie about it. Shame on every official who repeats these lies.
A father whose son was shot dead in Iran's January crackdown says the regime pressured him to call his child a "martyr." He refused. He was imprisoned.
His son’s name is Sepehr Shokri.
💔
Pezeshkian stood at the UN and claimed the people who came out on January 8–9 were armed Mossad agents.
Watch this video. Mothers holding their children’s hands. Families from every class, city, language, and region of Iran.
They were not spies. They were Iran. They came out because they want the Islamic Republic gone.
For the first time, the world can see the January massacre unfold in sequence, through the lenses of the brave Iranians who took to the streets and documented what happened around them, sometimes in their final moments.
Hours of previously unseen footage, gathered and preserved by @ManotoNews, reveal the scale of the Islamic Republic’s mass killing of protesters. There is no outside narrator. The Iranian people recorded their own courage, the regime’s brutality and the truth it tried to conceal.

Read the investigation by @AndyJehring and @NatalieLisbona, and watch the four-part documentary This Is Our Story.
They risked everything to leave this evidence behind. The least the world can do is watch, share and refuse to let their voices be silenced.
Content warning: graphic and deeply distressing footage.

Everything Pezeshkian says is a lie meant to deceive Americans.
I have no idea why Bret Bier even bothered to give him airtime.
This bloodthirsty demonic regime mass slaughtered innocent people on an industrial scale. They did not "meet with protesters", they sent shia terrorists to massacre everyone. Tens of thousands wiped out.
Shame on Fox News for platforming this beast.
I am sister of #Sina_Kazemi
I testify that my brother was unarmed when he was killed by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s forces on January 8, 2026.
He was not acting on behalf of any foreign government.
I seek truth, justice, and accountability.
@UNHumanRights
As Ahmad’s sister, I testify: on January 9, 2026 my brother #Ahmad_Khosravani was killed by Iranian forces of the Islamic Republic while completely unarmed.
He was only 21, a professional basketball player with his whole life ahead of him. He was not acting on behalf of any foreign government. They shot him directly in the heart.
I will keep seeking justice and accountability for my brother. Help us make our voices heard.
@UNHumanRights
🆘🆘🆘 URGENT EXECUTION ALERT
Please share. The Islamic Republic is killing another one of us!
Ali Zarei is only 27 years old and already lost an eye when regime thugs shot him in the Woman Life Freedom uprising four years ago!
Now he has been transferred to solitary confinement to be executed!
They hanged him at dawn.💔
The Islamic Republic executed rapper Erfan Mirzaei on Sunday, September 6, at the morning adhan, in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan. No warning. No last call to his family. The rope and the silence.
He was a young rapper. His crime was standing against a regime that kills to survive. He sang of freedom and hope in a country where a song can cost your life. Those who knew him remember a young man full of fire, art, and big dreams. The regime stole all of it in a single dawn, while the world slept.
He was arrested during the January protests and executed in secret, while the Islamic Republic continues slaughtering January protesters in Iran's prisons under a total news blackout.
His funeral is today, Say his name. Do not let the gallows have the last word.
I want to ask the students screaming “Death to America”, do you have any idea what happens when American values die?
Because I do.
My family fled Iran, a country where freedom died. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
You think America is oppressive because you have never experienced real oppression.
You think silence is violence because you’ve never been silenced.
You think words are dangerous because you have never watched a government drag someone away for speaking them.
You think capitalism is evil because you have never stood in a bread line.
You think borders are immoral because you have never had to flee across one.
You think revolution is romantic because you have never had a revolution take everything from you.
I have.
And that’s why I refuse to be quiet.
"Hello mom, please tell everyone the video on State TV was a lie. Tell them my confession was forced, and I didn’t kill anyone."
Those were the last words Amirhossein spoke to his mother before the Islamic Republic
Amirhossein had a physical disability in his hand. He was tortured. He was forced to confess on camera to a crime he denied committing until the very end.
His mother carries his last words now. We carry them too.
Iranian security agents allegedly cut away skin bearing tattoos of Reza Shah and an imperial crown before killing a 21-year-old protester before later shooting him dead, according to sources close to his family.
The sources told Iran International that Amirhossein Nobakht Pardasti was wounded by pellet fire and detained during the January protests at around 10 p.m. on January 8 near 30-Metri Street in Bagher Shahr, south of Tehran.
They said he was taken to hospital, where agents used blades and box cutters to remove skin and flesh bearing the tattoos before shooting him dead in what they described as an execution-style killing.
Nobakht Pardasti had previously been arrested during the 2022 Woman, Life, Freedom uprising, when he was 16.
