🟥 The warm welcome Volodymyr Zelenskyy received at the table today, from G7 leaders, especially the new leader of the Free World, Mark Carney - while Trump sat there awkward and petulant ... was WONDERFUL. 🙂
A humiliating morning for the Russian dictator, as the largest refinery in Moscow and one of the largest in Russia, now burns after a barrage of Ukrainian drones bypassed the country's most protected airspace.
Processing 12.8 million tonnes per year (245,000–250,000 barrels per day), this refinery supplies roughly 35–40% of the fuel consumed in Moscow and the surrounding region.
🎯 As I’ve been saying for years, Putin has exposed himself in Ukraine. Want to stop Russia’s election interference and propaganda? Its campaigns of sabotage and assassination? Its aid to dictatorships from Cuba and Venezuela to Iran and its terror proxies? Defeat him in Ukraine.
Then it will be too late: Chubarov urges Russians to flee Crimea
The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov called on Russian citizens illegally present in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea to immediately leave the peninsula. And he urged Crimeans, who are awaiting the liberation of Crimea from Russian occupiers, to take care of their own safety.
Chubarov noted that for more than three weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been carrying out precise and effective strikes on the military facilities of Russian occupiers in Crimea, and the intensity of these strikes is increasing.
“I want to address those who settled on the peninsula after February 27, 2014. Your presence in the territories of Crimea with forged Russian property ownership documents is illegal in all respects according to Ukrainian national legislation and international law.
As long as the Kerch Bridge is still operational, you have a chance to leave Crimea. Soon, this opportunity will no longer exist. Don't put off your departure from Crimea until tomorrow. Pack your things and return to your homeland. Now. It will be too late later,” said the politician
‼️🇺🇦🇷🇺 Zelensky :
« Poutine craint un million de soldats russes qui reviendront et demanderont : “Pour quoi nous sommes-nous battus ?” »
C’est probablement l’une des plus grandes peurs du Kremlin : pas seulement perdre des hommes, mais devoir affronter ceux qui reviendront vivants.
Des soldats traumatisés, mutilés, abandonnés, revenus d’une guerre vendue comme “existentielle”, et qui découvriront que tout cela n’a servi qu’à enrichir un régime, détruire un voisin et isoler leur propre pays.
💔 Nikopol. Absolute barbarism.
A russian drone murdered an entire family in a deliberate strike on a city street.
Three civilians were killed. One of the victims was a person in a wheelchair.
This is deliberate terror.
This must not be normalized.
Sadistic russian maniacs killed an 87-year-old Ukrainian who was mobility-impaired and used a wheelchair with a FPV drone.
Meaning they could see the target.
Another sign of Putin's loss of influence: Lukashenko apologized to Zelenskyy for comments threatening Ukraine.
Luka admitted Belarus is highly vulnerable and Belarusians don't want war, and said he poses no military threat to Ukraine.
Luka sees which way the wind is blowing.
Very emotional moment from the interview with Zelenskyy. You should watch this.
JOURNALIST: Do you miss being an actor?
ZELENSKYY:?I miss being a good father.
JOURNALIST: When your children were little, what did you tell them the most? What was the thing that you told them the most when they were small?
ZELENSKYY: I love you.
JOURNALIST: And what do you tell them now that they're older?
ZELENSKYY: Oh, I miss you.
JOURNALIST: When was the last time you cried?
ZELENSKYY: I will try to do it after our interview. No, I mean this, between us. I'm a normal man and then there are a lot of different moments, between us, almost each day, a lot of losses on the battlefield and civilians, and there are absolutely crazy attacks on our people.
And I'm just, it's… I mean, It's very difficult really, when I give orders (medals). I said about it. It's always difficult for me when I give orders (medals) to the mothers and fathers, who lost their children. In such moments, really, I often cry.
JOURNALIST: Are you a hero?
ZELENSKYY: No.
JOURNALIST: So who is your hero?
ZELENSKYY:?My hero? My children, my army, our army, and Ukrainian people. So I'm a part… I'm also a Ukrainian, so I'm a part of our nation. But now our nation, I think, that our nation is absolutely heroic.
I am grateful to the United Kingdom and Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer for another decision in support of Ukraine. UK Export Finance will allocate £210 million for the supply of enriched uranium to support Ukraine’s nuclear energy sector, which is the main source of power supply for our people and our economy.
The UK is also introducing a new package of sanctions against Russia, targeting Russia’s shadow fleet and the financial networks the Russian Federation uses to circumvent sanctions. The new British restrictions are being applied for the first time against tankers carrying sanctioned liquefied natural gas, the proceeds from the sale of which Russia is using to finance its war. This is a necessary step, and just as with oil tankers, it is important that there ultimately be the ability not only to stop these shadow fleet vessels, but also to seize them. Thank you!
‼️Zelensky: “Russia should know that we had a terrible winter, and theirs will not be an easy one either”
The Ukrainian president also said that he has no intention of playing by Putin’s rules.
“I will not go to meet Putin in Moscow. I do not play these games. We can meet in Turkey, Switzerland, or the Middle East, but for now he does not want to end the war,” Zelensky said.
According to the Ukrainian president, 60% of Russians want the war to stop.
There is also a possibility that Ukraine will produce missiles for Patriot systems.
“I discussed with Trump the transfer of licenses for the production of these systems. The U.S. leader responded positively,” Zelensky said.
First responders have put out the fires in Kyiv – at the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal. I am grateful to all the services working at the sites of the strikes, and to everyone who is helping. It has been confirmed that two Russian drones deliberately targeted the part of the city where the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal are located. As of now, 35 people are reported injured in Kyiv. Across the country, 53 people have been wounded, and 11 people are known to have been killed in this massive Russian attack. My condolences to all their families and loved ones.
We are in constant communication with our partners regarding the consequences of this Russian attack and the necessary response. It is important that state leaders, public leaders, and international organizations do not remain silent. I have instructed Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our entire diplomatic team to maximize all contacts with partners today so that international events this week and next deliver real results for strengthening our defense and increasing global pressure on Russia over this war. We need a just response to this Russian strike. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine.
Today, Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow’s largest oil refinery.
To understand the scale of the strike, a few key facts about Moscow Oil Refinery:
- Located just 15 kilometers from the Kremlin.
- Supplies up to 40% of Moscow’s gasoline and about 50% of its diesel fuel.
- Overall, it meets around 70% of gasoline needs for Russian capital and surrounding region.
- One in every three cars in Moscow is fueled by products from this refinery.
- Bitumen from the plant is used to build or repair every second street in Moscow.
Drones struck and damaged a key refining unit at Moscow oil refinery, likely causing the facility to halt operations for an extended period of time!
Simply shocking.
To all those who screamed bloody hell when the Obama administration returned a tiny fraction of this amount to Tehran after they signed JCPOA, I look forward to hearing from you now.
3 people have been killed after Russians targeted pedestrians in Nikopol with an FPV drone.
Attack killed an 87-year-old woman and her 51-year-old son. Police are still identifying the 3rd victim.
First-person view (FPV) drones allow real-time control and vision, meaning the operators saw perfectly well that they were killing an elderly woman in a wheelchair.
Doing it was their conscious choice!
SEN. KELLY: Ukraine is not asking us to fight with them with U.S. troops on the ground in Ukraine. They’re asking for help with equipment.
We want Russia to lose. I want Russia to lose badly. I want Ukraine to win. Best way to achieve that is to give them assistance they need.
I find it flabbergasting that Russia ordered a sabotage operation against the British PM on UK soil and yet everyone seems to accept it's just business as usual.
This behaviour is why it's essential to defeat Putin in Ukraine.
