I love Elon but this valuation infuriates me. IPO’s used to give the public a chance at making money. Amazon IPO’d at $500 million. Google IPO’d at $20 billion.
Now they just do venture investment rounds until all the juice is squeezed and they dump on the uneducated general public.
In 2020 Elon said publicly that TSLA was overpriced, now he launches an IPO for a company losing $5 billion per year that is priced much worse.
