Had a very neat experience yesterday thanks to work. IU Southeast has the largest Student Conference across all 7 IU campuses and I got to attend ours yesterday to take pictures. I even got to snag a picture with our chancellor! Great day and great experience!
As an Apple lover, I knew this day was coming. Bittersweet for sure. Such a big fan of Apple for many years. Thank you, @tim_cook@Apple

When you see wounded, I see mended
So hold on, it's not the end No, this is where love's work begins I'm making all things new. This world is not our home and this is not the end. There is a better day coming.
I knew very little about him but he was a husband, son, and father. His wife and kids were in attendance at the event. They lost a husband and father. Violence is never the answer.
I don't normally comment on the news of the day, but the shooting of Charlie Kirk is so wicked and so grievous. It's sad to see my own kids affected. Like many Gen Zers, they love his videos. I'm grateful for the many times he clearly and cheerfully made much of Jesus Christ. If you want to honor his legacy, pick up a Bible, read about Jesus, and see what Kirk believed in. May God bless his family. May God bless America.
I'll leave you with the words from Matthew West's song, Mended:
When you see broken beyond repair I see healing beyond belief When you see too far gone I see one step away from home When you see nothing but damaged goods I see something good in the making I'm not finished yet
Because of God's 'simplicity' we cannot pit his wrath/judgment against his love. A loving God will be angry at the evil that harms the creation and humanity he loves. God is too loving to shrug at sin and not do justice. But he is also too loving to just destroy & not forgive.
