@citizentvkenya While the government is committed to addressing various challenges facing our beloved countries, the government advisors need to do a better job through well thought out advice informed by evidence. Additionally, the place of due diligence shouldn't replace the need to deliver!
@citizentvkenya The advisor to our DP on agricultural matters should do a better job because DP is committed:
1) Palm seeds from Western countries and Mali is one of the Western countries, the coup not withstanding?
2) The import bill is Kes 1.2B. I guess he meant USD
@citizentvkenya 6) The mention of soya in Western parts of Kenya and cotton may not have been well analysed due to the high costs of production compared to our neighboring countries.
7) There is no mention of sunflower yet there is currently a lot of focus and activities going on around this.
@citizentvkenya 3) The government to spend Kes 200B to buy the seeds. That will not address the import bill even if it's USD 1.2B
4) The time it takes to produce palm oil from palm oil crop seems not to be factored in. It takes about 3-5 years with a good breed, I doubt that from Mali will do
@ahmednasirlaw I don't like replying to your tweets but this has attracted my attention. What exactly are you saying wakili? Leave the junior officer alone until others face the law? Arrest all? Start with the big thieves? Or none of the above? Sometimes, I feel you are clouded to be objective!
The Lord God, our Shepherd Who maketh us to lie down in green pastures; leadeth us beside the still waters; restoreth our souls and leadeth us in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake, we thank You for today. Strengthen our walk in You and make us Wholy Thine, Amen!
