@GuidoFawkes The first railway between London and Birmingham was the London and Birmingham Railway (L&BR). Engineered by Robert Stephenson, it took about five years to build (1833–1838) and ran 112.5 miles between Euston Station in London and Curzon Street Station in Birmingham. Progress, eh?
Behold, an opportunistic Narcissus Bulb Fly - Merodon equestris, recorded laying eggs in a pot of Ismene festalis - Peruvian Daffodil/Spider Lily. As I would rather have the lilies than the fly larvae a remedy has been applied.

@WalkerMarcus "Easter Day" is often considered "U" (upper-class/traditional) because it is the formal, historic, liturgical title. "Easter Sunday" is considered "non-U" or simply a more modern, descriptive alternative that adds unnecessary repetition.
@BBCNews Under section 14(3) of the Sale of Goods Act 1893 Act (and equivalents), there is an implied condition that goods sold in the course of a business are "reasonably fit for the purpose" made known to the seller. The political adaptions were not created ex nihilo.
@Keir_Starmer I remember when politicians didn’t bother with any of these performative socio-religious observations and comments. Christians probably don‘t need this kind of superfluous, bland and appropriative commentary on their beliefs and traditions. Who is the messaging for?
