"Without a doubt, I agree that there are fake ‘men of God’ who take money from their congregations for their own enrichment. This is very wrong and it is a crime. However, we don’t need a new law to prosecute these criminals. Obtaining money by false pretence is a crime even if it is by a ‘man of God.’ I am glad a number of criminals hiding behind religion across all RFOs have been nabbed and actually prosecuted."

Most African countries are currently experiencing hot temperatures due to a combination of factors but the major factor is climate change, which has led to rising global temperatures. Everyone is equally responsible and has a role to play to make sure that we protect Mother Earth for the future generations.
⏺️INDIVIDUALS
As individuals we have a crucial role to play in tackling global warming. Here are a few ways people can contribute:
1. Reduce energy consumption: By being mindful of our energy usage, such as turning off lights when not needed, using energy-efficient appliances, and conserving water, we can significantly reduce our carbon footprint.
2. Choose sustainable transportation: Opting for public transportation, carpooling, biking, or walking instead of driving alone can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation, which is a major contributor to global warming.
3. Support renewable energy: Consider switching to renewable energy sources for your home, such as solar or wind power. If not feasible, you can still support renewable energy initiatives by purchasing renewable energy credits or supporting organizations that promote clean energy.
4. Practice responsible consumption: Make conscious choices when it comes to purchasing products. Choose eco-friendly and sustainable options, reduce waste by reusing or recycling, and support companies that prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility.
5. Spread awareness and advocate: Share information about global warming and its impact with friends, family, and your community. Encourage others to take action and support policies and initiatives that address climate change.
Remember, even small actions can make a big difference when it comes to tackling global warming. Together, we can create a more sustainable future for our planet. 🌍💚🌳
⏺️ GOVERNMENT
The government plays a crucial role in tackling climate change. Here are a few ways governments can contribute:
1. Policy and regulation: Governments can implement policies and regulations that promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and emission reduction. They can set targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enforce regulations to ensure compliance.
2. International cooperation: Governments can engage in international agreements and collaborations to address climate change on a global scale. This includes participating in climate summits, negotiating emission reduction targets, and supporting international efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
3. Investment in clean technologies: Governments can allocate funding and resources to support research, development, and deployment of clean technologies. This can include investing in renewable energy projects, promoting electric vehicles, and supporting innovation in sustainable practices.
4. Education and awareness: Governments can play a role in raising awareness about climate change and its impacts. They can educate the public, schools, and communities about sustainable practices, climate resilience, and the importance of environmental conservation.
5. Adaptation and resilience: Governments can develop strategies and plans to adapt to the impacts of climate change. This can include implementing measures to protect vulnerable communities, investing in infrastructure that is resilient to extreme weather events, and promoting sustainable land and water management practices.
By taking these actions, governments can lead the way in addressing climate change and creating a more sustainable future for all. 🌍💚
